@@Nordlicht05hell ya i love that channel as well, he is a good guy as well, i was working on a project & needed help and he helped me out, he can turn anything non-RC toy into a great RC vehicle.
Man , they are killing this micro market. When I was a kid I always dreamed of being able to drive my matchbox size cars and trucks like an rc. And here we are. This is epic!👊🏼💯🔥☕️
This is absolutely incredible how packed the tiny truck is! It's not only extremely fun, but also looks very adorable and cool! Love how it drives and the amount of features packed in it, definitely would buy it in the future!
Jeepers Phil, I'm trying to limit my rc purchases, but this is a must have! What a lovely semi you have! ;) I'm going to show mine to my wife & hope she appreciates it too :)
As a diesel mechanic who works on commercial vehicles I WANT ONE! Also I've watched a lot of trailers get backed into slips... You did better than a lot of folks Phil!
I used to do the same thing on gravel haulers. As soon as I saw it I wondered if they would make one with a lead and pup lol. I got my little nephew addicted to Hot Wheels, I think I might get this for him as a Christmas gift to tote them around.
@@riothero313 pick up some small magnets to help the trailer stick to the flatbed, or else its going to come off very easily. I'm going to super glue magnets on the flatbed, and glue magnets under the trailer on my truck. Then itll help stay without being permanent. Since theres also car carrier accessory you can put on as well.
Its not just you Tomley, the steering is really shallow and a complaint of mine. The other only complaint is the trailer and car stands don't stay on the flatbed, it falls off at a slight touch. Perhaps in another revision they could make everything magnetize for a better fitment and have slight more control over which lights you want on or not. Other than that its a feat of engineering and amazing! I'm loving my truck.
Here in the U.S.A. The average length of a tractor trailer combination is 72 feet long and 13 foot 6 inches tall. Maximum full loaded weight is 80,000 lbs. Subject to change with specialty loads. With a little modeling skills... This could make for a very nice car hauler.
That is a great little semi. The number of features ia amazing. They put so many features I am surprised at the relative low price. I kept thinking of the videos I've seen where hobbyists bring their Tamiya semis and drive them around. They are great, but it would be neat driving one of these around at the meeting and get their reaction.
Hi Phil, Just dropped by to say how good I think your channel is. Watch it all the time and its really nice to sit back with a cup of tea and watch you build stuff with your good humour.
And this is why us adults just love toys completely make us feel like a kid again but now we don’t just need imagination to make them move or your hand😂❤
As a lorry driver i give it 10 / 10 for details especially horn as this is what us drivers use the most haha May actually be heplfull when practicing for a driving test 🤔
LOL so I saw the thumbnail and I though FFS Mr Tomley why are you gonna show us this POS. Then I saw the indicators, then I saw it run, then I saw the lights, how the trailer hooks up, how it drives and was like. Heck yeah! One of the coolest desk toys I have seen! Thanks for sharing bruh, and yes we call it a lorry, or a wagon or an artic short for articulated but hey, your English you know. My comment was for the heathen masses around the world LOL. Oh, you didn't tell us where to get one or how much they are. Thanks Mr Tomley for another excellent vid.
Absolutely amazing. I'm so baffled and impressed by the trailer. I guess it has it's own Rx in addition to the battery? What an impressive setup. Definitely checking these tiny cars out this Christmas.
Good Morning my friend. Around April 2024 they have the East Coast Crawler Nationals at Cherokee Rock Village in Alabama it is a excellent event. Please build a truck and come. It would be awesome 😎 to meet you.
That's amazing. It really is. Took me back to my childhood playing with lorries. The cab would tip forward like the real thing. Of course had to drive them hands on but this, I'd have loved one. And will love one how as a bloke.
Pretty sure that these tiny RC trucks were available well over 15 years ago as a friend of my was parallel parking one on his coffee table as we were watching news on TV about the upcoming 2010 Winter Olympics and the Canada Line Skytrain construction nightmares which were happening around 2006. The truck had all the usual drive controls plus turn indicators and four way flashers, running lights and back-up lights.
there’s smaller because there’s also 1:87th scale trucks (and cars) but I don’t think there are any rtr (ready to run) models besides Carson models they have the classic VW busses some other car and busses Which I really like and recommend 👍
!!!! I need this!!!!!! I drive the real thing, I'd have too much fun with that. I may get our Night time dispatcher one to play with on slower nights! I wish they had a Peterbilt version!
Actually the Keyence Deskrunner 2000 is smaller at 1:87 scale. It is fully proportional like this with lights, turn signals high beams, reverse lights etc. I have one however it's not 2.4 ghz. It has an antenna that sticks out of the transmitter. They were amazing for the year they came out. But I will be buying one of these for sure. Good job with review.
I’d choose the black one. It’d be cool if they offered a long nose version vs the cab over. Then you could clone movie or tv trucks like the knight rider semi or Smokey and the bandit. Either way it’s super cool, albeit a bit pricey for something that small
Do you think it would be possible to give it more steering lock & make it slower with a small gear reduction motor possibly, just to make it more controllable
Phil i almost never complain about prices, however almost $200 for this after taxes, it’s slightly high. Very very cool RC hand down. Sorry just my 2 cents 😉👍🏽💯
Nice to see the brand making progress. I'd guess they will do a proper 2 deck car transporter trailer someday. Would have been nice to have a forward engine sound. Backing up a trailer around a turn is difficult in my short experience.
I've been eyeballing the Orlandoo 1/32 Semi truck _Kit..._ it's been on sale for about $100 at BG (It would make for a cool FPV delivery vehicle in my office: Your laptop is here, beep beep) But this would give me soooo many more options! Meh, 'tis only a few pounds, it's Veterans day.... *let's get nuts and buy both, shall we?!*
Nearly flawless Product! i would add one slower speed, more steering angle & make the trailer "locking" remote controlled. (is that the right word for the 'pin' being held or released?...german here🤷♂) otherwise great little Truck!
More breathtaking than the truck itself is ITS PRICE!! I bought the TR anniversary package with 2 mini's and 1 controller for €55 incl. Now TR dares to ask the same amount of money for just the trailer. INSANE!
Very cool, just wondering if the tractor unit has a differential. I remember getting something similar a while back and the combination of poor steering lock and a locked rear diff meant it wasn’t fun to use.
They need to work on the steering. I have several tiny rcs and the ones that don’t have a realistic turning radius get boring very fast. Especially in small spaces like they are intended for.

The kid in you really came out in this video especially your laughs cheers mate 🤟😎
If these had the detail quality of the HO train stuff they would sell like crazy. Matchbox made a couple different scale sizes early, this chassis under an old Matchbox body sounds like a decent challenge.
