- A good friend of mine kindly invited me on a day at his little shoot up in Yorkshire. I had work commitments so could only make it up for the day so after 612 miles and 10 1/2 hours in the car I asked myself was it really worth it?? The answer being.. ABSOLUTELY!!
We had a brilliant day with the wind making for some sporty pheasant and partridge. It was great to catch up with friends who I don't get to see very often so I hope you enjoy joining me on this day.

I normally use zenith 32 5s but I’m giving the black golds uer 32 5 as well as the zeniths found them to be tight with the wad I took 3/8 out and put 1/4 in didn’t really seem to try them last week end as the birds weren’t flushing but will persevere with them

Good move, ported chokes don’t pattern as good as non ported. Left handers are better shots!

Like chicken farming but free range, well for a few weeks of their lives. The partridge look like living skeletons and the pheasant look about 22 weeks old
