AWESOME PHEASANT SHOOTING | HIGH BIRDS!! | WHAT A DAY!!

I had a very kind invite to shoot on a friends syndicate and I had no idea how good this day turned out to be!
The birds flew amazingly and there was so many to choose from even though we are at the end of the season. I took some birds that I will remember forever, had a great day out with like minded people, what more can you ask for?

Thank you Mark! Glad you liked the video! I think it’s going to be ok, apparently it indicates the memory is full even though there is no footage on it but I’ve got to do a complete clear of the trash on the laptop. Going to give it a go tonight 👍

I’m not overly sure of the places name as I’m rarely head over that way. I know that places like Winscombe and parnham are sometimes looking for beaters. Hope this helps 👍

How high were the birds ? You appear to give them a very long lead ? I'm trying to workout the lead distance for high ducks, any tips greatly appreciated. I use 32g 4's with a Benelli 32" barrel full choke Thanks

Most were approximately 30-40yards but some of the longer birds were about 60 yards. Ducks I have found aren’t so much a big lead, but the line of the bird. They change direction a lot so I would more than likely say you are missing down the side of the bird. Hope this helps 👍

One fine day on our patch somewhere in (Darzet) with some quality kills to remember.Don't be a numpty and clear your camera regularly.Download the clips onto an external drive or memory stick.Shame when that archangel opportunity and possible visual memory is lost...Tall Birds..

The issue with your Shotkam may be that the memory is full. You will need to format it which essentially frees up the memory (deleting old recordings). Check the instructions.

Broad rounded wings + sparrowhawk. Long pointed wings = kestrel. The first is classed among the hawks, the second are falcons.
