Just in time - I’m about to do my diff bushings next weekend! Your videos have been super helpful since I bought my ‘05 LX470 with 300k in October ‘21. Thank you!

Chisel and hammer works and good for initially lifting off the flange… then hit it with an air chisel and the bushing will walk out faster than Will Smith can throw a slap

Awesome video Man, must be a landcruiser thing because I’m about too do the same thing and didn’t have a clear understanding on what parts are needed… now I know cheers from Australia 🇦🇺

Nice vid! Yea, mine had a tiny bit of front clunk left after diff bushings.. and greasing the driveshafts after eliminated the clunk 💯 %

Nice work. The slight clunking at the front… that could be the drive flanges on the ends of the hubs worn?

I changed those a while ago. The clunk is only there when I shift from R to D before the car stops completely. I think it should be ok lol

Hey man thanks for the great video, going to tackle this very soon, btw. I think you missed one upper bushing TAB-335 or part 41653-60020

Thanks for all these informative videos. I bought a 2000 LC100 and this is another huge info video I needed. I am in San Diego and trying to find mechanics here who work on these are hard to find.

Hit me up if you need help. I’ve done a lot of preventative maintenance on my 99.

That “clunk” is more attributable to the the drive flanges.

Great work on the Bushings, Mr Chow. Been there done that on mine, and it's not an easy job. Especially that diff cover bush.
BUT... Wtf are doing using OME shocks with a diff drop? Those shocks are no where near long enough for 2" lift!! Bad info and just wrong.

Hi Ive never done this before but to get the rear bush out couldn't you have droped it down like you did then put a socket up between the bush and the frame then just jack the diff up to press the bush out?

Thanks for posting this. I just bought a 2000 LX470 that's lifted, and has 315/75 tires, 183,000 miles. How often are you replacing CV's axles? Just trying to get an idea on what to expect. Really like your content. Subscribed.

    Hello, im from Timor Leste.
I have a problem with my LC100 in Air suspension, so I don’t want to use that AHC. Can i change that shock breaker without Use AHC ?

    • @chowcares
      @chowcares  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I’ve heard of people taking out ahc and swapping in the regular suspension

@@yugovester8187 I've switched my air suspension with an OME 2.5 inch lift and love it. Changing it out is very messy however

Ever since I did the diff drop, I have a vibration coming from the driver's side at 25 mph. I already changed out the CVS. Any idea what you think it might be ? Wheel bearings?
