As I begun my journey through all the expanded universe, you have my thanks for these amazing quality audiobooks, I really enjoy them, keep up the great work
Awesome So glad to see these audio books and they help with people's timeline. And love the details an info about the Falcon and Han an Chewy. Like the extras the Falcon has . And his custom blaster , explosive bolts that Chewbacca crossbow fires , stuff like that. It makes you understand why Boba knew it would be a challenge when the bounty was put out
@@decadebird I think this my second time on this audiobook. And a newer canon book release names Bollox as coming in a star port and telling some adventures with Solo. I can't remember if Blue Max was with him or not. These really give a good definition of Solo's charter. I enjoyed in Legends when Han and Boba started respecting each other and even worked together one time. And the fact that Han had daughter trained by a Mandalorian. The Mandalorian gloves gift will always be a favorite part of legends. And would be nice to see in canon one day.
Matt Wilkins saying this is really good 👍 Would be an interrelating and very very rare audiobook! I meant to link to the review he did of a book it’s actually about dash rendar . I’ll do when get home at work now lol Here it is - th-cam.com/video/rZR6rIa_zio/w-d-xo.html
Thankyou again for taking the time and efort to bring us these wonderful stories....I lost my copies of the books nearly forty years ago and since my eyesight has failed and my tinnitus has got worse every year I had lost hope that I would hear these stories again. Disney has destroyed the universe I iimagined throgh Brian Daley and Alan Dean Foster (check out the Star Wars radio drama starring Mark Hammil it's by Brian Daley and it's five hours long. Fills in LOADS of back story ) Love from the UK and thanks again!!!! th-cam.com/video/0-29uKdckL4/w-d-xo.html
@@decadebird I’m surprised that audible or big companies are slacking on this because if they not careful humans will for sure be replaced as far as narration . If they think screen actors will be replaced eventually by cgi then it’s already happening here for voice actors ! Even how they talk seems very human
I’ll be honest for whatever reason this book the last version was the only one I couldn’t get locked into the story , but immediately the unique voices caused me to get locked in and feel like I care about the characters like the young college kids caught my brains attention perfectly lol
@@bigbird2240 That’s great! I definitely felt like Badure and Skynx spoke to me. And the unique voices for female characters rather than simple pitch changes.
Standing ovation 👏 for the chewy neck crack sound effect!!
😂 Gotta love good foley art.
Crazy this was written in 1980. Better than many modern books
Oh yeah. Brian Daley did great things for Star Wars.

Thanks so much. You are very kind.
Nice to hear a story of Solo before his rebel days.
Love this channel
Thanks so much. That is very kind.
Thank you for the remaster. First draft was hard on the brain with varying audio speed and music playing in background
Awesome

Haha. Don’t hassle Han Solo over his lift/mass ratio.
Awesome 3 books.
So cool they explain the scar on his chin. And the details of the Falcon . Also in the one book Chewy with a hat lol.
…and the details about the life debt

One of those voices sounds eerily similar to Mark Hamill
The more talkative professor at the beginning
@@frederickthesquirrel I agree. I stuck with that voice for Skynx, and I used it for Luke Skywalker in some other audiobooks.
@@decadebird Is it actually trained on samples from Hamill, or is it just a funny coincidence?
@@frederickthesquirrel Lucky coincidence

Cool. I love all things Star Wars. And it was super cool that Daley kept going with the radio dramas.
Today Scott Adams talked about ai again and said they will need to regulate ai voices because they are going to become so persuasive
Definitely needs to be used responsibly
@@decadebird the new voices you added actually have a unique personality to them where I immediately imagine what they look like etc

It’s actually crevasse, but I appreciate the feedback. 👍
