Yeah crash is just part of the play in FPV racing you just rebuild what is broken frame is fine probably just broken props and bent lipo. most people who don't play racing drone probably thinks it is like DJI drones with a lot of plastic to brake.

In FPV racing you do crash a lot when that happens you just rebuild what is broken. Don't imagine it like DJI drones. By the looks of it the frame is fine probably just few broken props and bend lipo battery which should not used again. Other than that fine.

we usually see when we drag race rc cars somewhere between 85/87mph to 100/103mph in about 1.7 to 1.8 seconds in a 132ft race that we accept as the scaled down 1/4 mile distance

I have that same rc car. It is hella fast out the box(6s battery, 80+ mph). His is definitely modded for 8s battery to go very fast.

Way back in the 90s with NiMh batteries and tuned motors they could top 70mph. 20 years later now lithium and brushless motors are commonplace you can get off the shelf mass produced RC cars that easily do more than 70mph as you have just seen.
