There are 5 primary differences: the balance wheel (obviously), the size of the date window (slightly larger), the print on the date window: does not register with black print, but the white print is MUCH whiter; almost fluorescent white. Overall, the watch is thinner on the wrist, though it feels no lighter. Finally, the logo arrangement, eliminating the abbreviation "AP", is one that was a long time coming. I would have preferred just "AP" on the dial myself. All told, the 15500 is the more understated (less prominent date window & print) while the 15510 has a more legible date print in a slightly larger window & with the "Audemars Piguet" logo taking up more space on the dial. There are other differences, but those 5 are the most obvious ones & I really do wish they would just leave "Audemars Piguet" out of it & just put "AP" on their watches; the dials just look cleaner with fewer letters.

Superb video comparison showing the differences. Much appreciated! As another comment mentioned, the bracelet is also notably thinner from what I have seen, but you hit almost all the differences. Genuinely appreciate the vid - but, my man, do yourself a favor and find a pronunciation guide for Audemars Piguet. The s is silent. That was...jarring. Jenni Elle's channel has a great pronunciation guide that includes AP: th-cam.com/video/jQ2dG3poS1w/w-d-xo.html But really do appreciate the video!

Great insights! Thanks for sharing 🙂
How do you see values of the 50th anniversary moving in the coming years?

A bit more detail and analysis on explaining the watch such as how it looks, the cartouch and a little less on sales emphasis please!
You missed the biggest difference. The bracelet on the 15510 is SIGNIFICANTLY thinner than the bracelet on the 15500
@@slash8915 it's thinner but not any lighter lol
