    Well, that IS unexpected. May be a pressure pad from 80's Memorex tapes. I have a few where the pad went "missing". I transplanted the tape to another shell.

    i have the 680ZX , i think they are the same , it´s old but sounds good ,problems ,well a nakamichi thing, and they say that are the best ,i own several and are worst than most of others i own
