Thanks for the coverage, but the audio mix is horrible. The players are way quieter than the announcers, so you need to crank it up to hear them even if they're the only ones talking, but then the announcers are way too loud. And then they're often talking over the players too.
At 51:41 this is a particularly egregious example. The players are clearly having a very fun conversation, and the announcers are talking over them to say absolutely nothing interesting at all. I'm only posting about this because I want poker coverage to be better, and to help attract more players to the game. What poker coverage did really well back in the day was allow the players to be the focus. Too often nowadays you can't even hear what the players are saying. Really does not help attract anyone new to the game whatsoever.
NLHE is fine but its a huge percentage of poker coverage. Poker is more than just NLHE. I enjoy mixed games and its nice to see some variety.@@TWISTEDGiraff3
Each letter of HORSE stands of a type of poker game that they play at each round. The game is indicated at the bottom of the "pot" graphic. You can search for tutorials for each on TH-cam.
You'll love the parts of the video where the commentators tell you the rules then. It's seriously not too difficult, assuming you already know poker in general, of at least one form. Since Texas Hold Them is all the rage these days, I"ll assume you know that. Every game being dealt in HORSE is just different in terms of: -whether the card (or cards) dealt that round are community cards (in a "hold' 'em game like Texas Hold Em or Omaha (Hold Em also, right? am I going crazy? I didn't just make that up, did I?) or an individual's cards only (as in the various 'stud' games, like Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi-Low 8-or-Better (the E in HORSE), or Razz (the R in HORSE), -what the betting limits are (i.e. they are fixed in all games being dealt here, and this is explained in the video, and you'll see it over and over again, they bet one amount on the first two rounds, or "streets", and another higher amount, double the lower amount, on rounds after the second betting round -how the winner is determined - it could be the highest poker hand, the lowest poker hand, or half to the highest and half to the lowest, and in HORSE, the E, 7 Card Stud Hi Lo Eight or Better, there is a "qualifier", meaning the Low hand has to qualify. The low hand has to be comprised of 5 cards of separate ranks between A and 8, inclusive, with A counting as the lowest. Straights and flushes don't "count against you" for making a low hand in 7CS8, so the best possible low hand is A2345. The best low hand in Omaha Hi Low Eight or BEtter (the O in HORSE) is also A2345. -how awesome the games are... 7CS8 is the most awesome, followed by Razz being second in awesemnity. Next is 7CS at third, then O8 (Omaha Hi Low), followed by LHE, Limit Hold Em (the H in HORSE), at fifth in awesemnity/awesomeness. And don't read into that that Limit Hold Em is a crappy game, because it isn't. It's great. It's jjust in a lineup with some even better games.
I understand you guys got to make conversation over to play, but if you're going to put up a feed on a mixed game, maybe you don't crap on the game. There are those of us who actually love limit hold'em. "Every 70 year old sucking coffee at the casinos game..." Really guys? Find a way to accentuate the positive, Attitudes like that or why we don't get any mixed game cash in casinos
@Trephining Eh perhaps I was a bit harsh, I understand no limit has swings that some can't handle. But it eliminates many of the strategies that No Limit has.
Been watching Daniel Ngannou for years. Fun to watch.

Came to comment this as well. Hated hearing their conversation at 2:20:00 I wanted to hear what the players were saying
Agree 100%
Generally the announcers are the ones you want toned down.
Love the mixed game
Coverage great work!🎉
So happy to see anything that’s not nlhe

Lets go dneg 🎉
I hate how the blinds and bets get so big late in a tournament that there isn’t any chance for actual poker moves but I love mixed games!
Who knew blinds/bets have to increase so tournaments don't last months?🙄
Tournaments have staff to pay. If you want the tourney to last forever, the cut of the pot would increase.
pretty sure OP was a rhetorical comment from someone who fully understands why the blinds/limits need to go up in tournaments
How many starting in this t....?
I could play this or watch it its all about no limit texas or at a lush Omaha
yeah not understanding that
Sweden

So benny stuck around after he lost heads up, and the winner disappeared somewhere lol
Max wanted a photo with him, so he went to get his phone
Yeah just talk over the players the entire time…
Can't play regular poker
No limit hold em is not the only “regular” poker game.
They are playing regular poker. It doesn't get much more regular than Seven Card Stud or Texas Hold Em.
Limit poker is just bad. AA's get followed all the way to the river because you can't go all in and force worse hands out.
Is it just bad, or it just different?
