What's your favourite vocation?
Mystic Spearhand so far... And Trickster. I haven't gotten Magick Archer or Warfarer yet. Sorc too if you have a tank, but it's awful without one.
I genuinely thought mystic spearhand or thief would be my favorite yet somehow I main warrior I only got my other vocations maxed for the augments to put on my warrior lmao
Wayfarer. I like Magick Archer skills better than any class. Also having a dagger and a staff so I can switch combat styles mid combat due to certain enemies taking more damage to different weapons helps. Also with the staff you can float and reach places hard to simply jump too. Finding amazing loot in rare places.
my biggest tip is ignore the hate and play the game
Exactly man, nowadays people criticise games way to much, which is slowly taking away the enjoyment part.
100% agree
I don't understand why people hate this game. I love it so much. What are these people looking for?
Bruuuh FRFR
I really don’t get where all the noise is coming from it’s crazy!!
Console version I have no complaints and am VERY HAPPY so far and I haven’t even left the first town.
I didn’t realize there was any hate. I’ve exclusively seen people talking about it positively and enjoying it. Taking my ass to metacritic rn 😂
Campsites should be considered the same as an inn. My pawns kept jumping to their death until I was forced to load last inn. So many hours lost
Resting at your house is also an "inn save".
Cool stuff. One additional tip I would add to hitting big monster weak points is to use your heavy attack on a downed monster weak point. You'll do incredible damage.
The house save is the same as an inn save, right?
Correct!
I don't think so. You can't collect RC from your pawn being rented unless you save at an inn. Idk about the load last inn save button yet I haven't tried cuz I rarely stay at inns
you can at homes
Ive had my pawn “return from the rift” when resting in my house? I was wondering this also. I haven’t used an inn basically the entire game because it was so expensive I just used camps until I bought my first house. I don’t think I’ve used an inn a single time, I’d be fucked if I accidentally pressed load from last inn save if the house doesn’t count 😂
Thanks for the video man
No problem 👍
Weight is the most important stat so just do Vermund style for everything except magic weapons where I do Elven instead. Elven may also be good for Fighter/Warrior armor for more magic defense as well. All the other styles increase weight which sucks.
Dragon forge at endgame halves weight. It's still probably worth focusing stagger on heavy physical, pure damage on daggers, and Vermundian for duospears.
@FelisImpurrator that is good to know but likely what I said still fits until you get the endgame weapons you plan to use the dragon resources on as afaik drakes do not respawn. Also I would assume Vermundian would still be good for enchanted weapons too at endgame?
@@quickpawmaud Oh, right. For all enchanted weapons I would assume Vermundian is generally good, unless the magick value is innately too weak to justify it. Dwarven seems essential for warriors though, as their damage is so dependent on having the knockdown.
The different enhancement bonus based on where you upgrade them blew my mind. I had no idea.
Same, and I was just upgrading where it was convenient, but in the back of mind, I was like, why do they give different symbols.... hoping this wasn't the case and it sure is... man, some regrets already....
Arbor for MAGIK AND MAGIK DEF upgrades , Vermund for SHARED upgrades & Bahtal whatever it's called (the desert area ) for STRENGTH & DEFENSE upgrades
@@karmakiillsz There is also Dwarven which upgrades defense/attack/magic to a lesser extent than vermundian but FAR boosts knockdown/knockdown resistance.
Ive been gifting " rotton skrag of meat" ad nauseum. I feel bad now😢. Ive gotten back eternal wakestones, portcrystals really good stuff. Ima have to start ❤
Thank you for this
Any time
Should I save my upgrade items for better gear ?
Thank You
I never bother making lantern oils, all I do is summon support pawns then take their lantern and repeat
lol that dress you get from Myrddin is probaby one of the best for sorcerors but looks funny on a male loll
Anyone above lvl 40 just now hearing about Arbour area
lol you said “the bahbra” ! 😂
Campsite should be same as in save….
And oxcarts are good but sucks theres always a fight. And stinks u gotta burn stones to fast travel.need to fix this bs
Bro you making videos with no bullshit and straight to the point, not to mention all the tips are actually useful!
Reminded of the times when youtube was simple with actually useful info
I don't like that you can't change their name, only appearance.
So if you make Trisha and change appearance to the strongest cat man ever made, you're Trisha the strong cat man.
You get the opportunity to change their name in NG+ when you re-create them, at least.
obviously this is a vid for people that got tons of time in the game and know wtf all this shit is and does. As someone with 8 hrs in the game, all this shit went in one ear and out the other.
Cool
how to make fake items? i didn’t know
Checkpoint Rest Town. The forager can duplicate some items. Others will be a knock-off of the item. There is also a bench. You can "Doze off" until 1-2 days pass by and collect the forgery instead of sleeping at the Inn. If you do 3 days you can buy Ferrystones from the Alchemist while making forgeries.
Hi
My player level 68 some how suddenly not doing any damage to enemies I tried doing everything nothing change
The games telling you to get a job
Did you by any chance do a certain riddle quest recently? If so, check your rings.
If you did the Sphinx Challenge and never took that ring off. Or Helped the Alchemist in Bakbattahl. You just agreed to play Elden Ring on Dragon's Dogma. Lol
Dragon's Dogma II, not Dragons Dogma. You seem to understand how punctuation works.
dont dont do this. got it
Anybody got money making tips
The easiest way to make money as well as farm passive EXP, loot and materials for upgrades is in Bakbattahl. (Digger's Ruins)
Bring 3 Pawns. Lanterns and lantern oil. Make sure everyone has low carry weight. If you want a challenge, go at night. I suggest the daytime since you will need to learn the route to and from town first. Bookmark the Exit before you enter so you can leave when your all over carryweight)
Once inside you will turn on your lantern. (Hover across the water if your a mage near the entrance)
Inside are clear crystals that will be either Glymercoal or Glymercole. If you loot all the ones you find (and they are EVERYWHERE) as well as kill all the enemies, loot all the chests and give items to the pawns when you start getting heavy on weight, you can sell it all in Bakbattahl giving you 30K to buy the home from the Beastern lady by the campfire all in 1 trip or 2.
Now that you have a home you can sleep for 3 days. Giving you the option to keep certain items like materials for upgrades later as well as store food so it doesn't rotten so quickly. (Or just deposit at the Inn and still sell what you want to sell and keep what you want)
You can then go back and do it as many times as you want.
The Alchemist shop also sells Ferrystone for $10,000. (Since you have to sleep for 3 days to reset the Ruins.) I would suggest buying one before going to the ruins and selling everything to him as well.
That way you can slowly collect them since they both reset in 3 days anyways.
Also place a Portcrystal on your steps in case you don't feel like walking home anymore if you have one.
You can then use this method to buy gear from the weapon and armor shops (as well as upgrade them once you have the needed materials) Then save only Glimmercoal (about 25) to complete the quest for the Blacksmith. Go back, keep making cash to buy all her expensive gear as well as upgrades.
For a more advanced way to make money. Place a Portcrystal at the entrance of Medusa entrance. You will see fallen logs at the entrance and enemies waiting to jump ya. The location is SW on the bottom corner of the map in the green area. You can kill her, take her loot, loot the entire location and then walk to the Dragon Tower, kill the dragon and all monsters, collect all the food on the way too. (You take a right as you leave Medusas lair and the path will take you straight to the dragons lair.) Once finished you can fast travel (or walk back to Bakbattahl and sell it all) you can also skip Medusa and save on Panaceas until your ready to fight her later on and just farm the monsters on the way to the Dragon instead.
With the Wayfarer vocation as well as a Magick Archer Skill (to make her fall asleep with 2 fully charged hits to the head) you can stand by her head, switch to the daggers and attack to get her head.
You may be tempted to use Medusa head on the Dragon. Don't those WyrmsLife crystals sell for 15K. Giving you the cash to buy your Ferrystones from the Alchemist BC you will need 2 per trip. (Or just camp for 7 days and go fight the dragon again.)
For the hardest way to make money. Make an ALT, have your ALT go to the Unmoored World, Save everyone and kill all the dragons. (Medusa head will kill them and give you WLC. Just a though to keep in mind...) Once you have about 300 WLC you can gift 50 to your main account and then sleep/save. Switch back the main and sell them for even more money.
