- This is a tour of mine, my brother, and a friends Remote Control car collection. Just a hobby we started about 15 years ago and it just got carried away. With how much we enjoyed this hobby, we just kept buying and acquiring more, more, and more cars, planes, helicopters, and no telling what. On top of the vehicles, the parts we keep in stock is shocking. Would gladly recommend this hobby to anyone any day as a good clean fun hobby looking for an addiction. Hope you enjoy!

I have some videos on my channel, dex and his brothers raced with us multiple times. Any time he ever showed up it was always a battle for second place because we all knew he was gonna win!

I built and rock crawled RC cars before I could afford the real deal. I had the time of my life playing with those things, and it’ll always be a very fun memory!

I recently got back into RC with a Maxx. Then 4 months later got a Trx4. You are spot on when you say that the fast ones are really fun but get old quickly. I find myself playing with the crawler way more now. The rock racing sounds really fun. I have found using mine when hiking to be really fun also.
It's a great hobby to get into. Most don't understand until they try it out.

I've also got tired of breaking parts on nitro or tuning nitro, and 70+mph electric RTR's smashing into a rock or tree,😂 just doesn't flip my switch like Crawling and Bouncing does! I've turned all of my RC's into unique one of a kind builds like you do DEX! Our minds think alike...

Very glad too see I’m not the only one that owns xjs but also has a ton of rc’s, I started with a version one trail honcho also and have done probably over 100 custom builds since that point, were close to axialfest and rubicon over here in cali so been blessed with many amazing events and crawl spots

@@dexjs quick question I did the CV shaft swap on my xj like you recommend when I was doing my lockers and gear, my left and right side axle seals are both leaking do you think it’s a shaft issue or the seals themselves?
But did run rubicon on 35s and didn’t break the shafts so I do like them a lot 🤙🏼

I was really into circle track racing with RCs. I had 2 XXXT Losi that had Castle brushless and a Novak speed controllers and another that was just for parts if I broke something in a race. Between parts and paying to race it got to be to expensive. It was really fun though.
I would love to see more on the RCs and possibly some of you all racing.
Dude, y’all need to get some VS4-10’s. I was a diehard SCX-10 guy for years, until I got my first Vanquish Origin. Now I’ve got about seven VS4-10’s and me and my son drive em every day. Awesome video brother, could you possibly do a video soon putting the XJ Novak ls motor mounts in, I’m getting ready to do my 2000 and would love to watch you do it first. Thanks

Did you ever get into Radio Shack cars, I cant remember what they were called but they had GTRs and Supras you could upgrade probably around 2003? Anyway they were a blast.
Before the ryft came out I built a bomber out to be a bouncer. Stretched it a little, bigger tires, aluminum axle housings, lcg suspension, 3800kv sensored castle system, huge monster truck tires and right when i had it done and i was happy with it about $1500 in, they dropped the ryft.

I’ve got one rc, it’s a traxxas stampede all stock, bought a few batteries lipos but outher then that I found out that hobby is pretty expensive 😂

What is your opinion of the Traxxas summit not the little one but the big one? I got one when they first come out and just recently pulled it out of the attic and want to upgrade the electronics cuz it still has the crystal radio but man I love that thing!
I have been sticking with the hobbywing axe stuff for my crawlers their FOC control is just too good
I really like the fusion stuff. I have a couple of them.
I prefer hobbywing over castle because they seem built tougher.
Also bought my son a slash that'll do 60 and you're right it's broken more than it works...

I bought a jeep xj about 3 years ago now I have two of them a 2000 and a 1999 xj.
The 1999 has a rebuilt engine it’s my project now
The 2000 is nice it’s my daily driver It has a junkyard motor in it now with a hard job shaved ported and polished ! It has the oil pressure issue when it’s at temperature “!! I’ve been driving it like this for a few years!! I loaded down and go camping 🏕️ too !

Nothing worse than "RuLeS" on an unlimited buggy class rock bouncer... We built ours with brake line and small solid rod back in the day.
You should actually do a 2nd channel for the rc racing builds ect.
