Hello, I hope you still active, as your last video was publish 4 months ago. While looking at the automation, you mentioning delivering the freebie, and adding a check when conditions are met. I am quite confused on how you deliver the freebie and about the conditons you mentions, how they get from the Freebie group to the Offer's group? Thank you a lot
Hi Andrea! thank you for your comment. You're first going to have to determine what specific event or trigger, your subscribers are going to have to click to send an automatic email. It could be a subscriber joining a group, filling out a form, subscriber clicking a link, etc. You can set up the automation by clicking "Automation" in Mailerlite and then "New Automation" . After you've set up your automation you can then create your email workflow. I hope this helps!
I hate to admit that I have been a bit intimidated to even start using automations, but you've taken away the 'fear of the unknown'. Thank you for this walk-through!
Thank you for this helpful video. I've been using MailerLite for a couple of years and never understood how to use the groups as tags nor the conditions. It was fast and I had to stop it and take notes, but now I can try to replicate that!
This was a super helpful video! Thanks, Haily!! I have tried to use many other sales funnel and marketing builders/programs and spent a lot of money but never really get very far due to the complex learning curve or poor design of the program. Mailerlite is a really user-friendly program and is FREE for up to 1000 subscribers. Haily Dale made the funnel process really easy to follow. I just wish that TH-cam tutorial videos were easier to see. I did get lost a few times when Haily went too fast or clicked on options but you could not really see where she was clicking.
Hello bruce can you please tell me the best programs for sales funnels and landing pages? Like whats the best programs for each pls? Don't have a lot of money.
at around 23:18 or so you show how to put in the check to see if they've purchased already before sending them the next sales email. I could not see which option you selected there. Please could you clarify what the check is to be put in there. Thanks for a great video!
@@JenniferLovemore-123 The condition stays the same as the previous email: "Group Membership" and "Offer | Name of Offer". After that an email design is added.
Hi There, This was incredibly helpful... very comprehensive. I think I will have to watch the playback at 3/4 speed though. The only issue I have with it is that on my 13" MacBook the images are all a bit pixilated which is unfortunate... The frame is pretty (and I get why you did it considering the it was filmed in portrait instead of landscape). I definitely will have to look at your other videos on Mailerlite. Thank you very much and cheers ~
This is super helpful for newbies like me. I am confused though about the first condition. If they've just signed up and you're sending them the freebie download in their first email, how would they already be in a funnel and you need to check if they've completed it? What am I missing? TIA
That's exactly it! If you have multiple freebies that feed into the same funnel you'll want to have some kind of check-in place to make sure that they're not getting the same email over and over again. There is a setting on MailerLite that you can change just to one, but I do find that sometimes when you put that in and you put changes later on, it can just mess things up in terms of like why are people getting this when they signed up for it. So that check is just there for that exact reason, if there are multiple freebies feeding into the same funnel that's why that check is in place, but if you have a pretty simple funnel with only one freebie in play you can skip that and just have the setting checked in MailerLite only send it to people once Hope this helps, Hailey
Not sure if it's just my screen but the video is not very clear.. I can't read the text very well and it's a bit hard to follow where your mouse is clicking.. would be nice for future if you can say which button you're clicking on or maybe highlight your mouse.. otherwise, it's a great tutorial. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. I am now a loyal subscriber. My MailerLite is connected with my Woo commerce which is on my Wordpress site. Do I also need to connect MailerLite to my Google analytics? I heard you mention it but couldn’t follow. I’m just wondering how MailerLite will know if an offer has been purchased already. Or if it was clicked on on my website but not purchased.
Hi Ruby! Thank you for your kind words and for the questions! Yes, you can also enable Google Analytics to further record activity in your newsletter. And for your second question, when a subscriber opens an email and clicks to be redirected to your website where they make a purchase-that purchase is recorded in your campaign report. I hope this helps!
@@YourContentEmpire OMG thank you so much for your reply. I think I emailed you a few days ago because I did not see your reply here. I have been using your video to get my first ever email funnel set up. I have another question - so you send them the freebie, and then you put a check in place to see if they are currently in the funnel or have already completed the funnel and this is confusing me. How would they already be in the funnel? Do you mean like previously like maybe they signed up in the past at some point? I am really confused as to why I am checking to see if they are in the current funnel group directly before I add them to it and also checking the completed funnel group. Thank you so much for your patience, I am a noob at this automated email stuff. I am a blogger and you know a lot of us have traditionally been anti ads or funnels lol but times they are a changin
Also, before starting to sharing the Freebie Opt-in page, I will have to set up the automation for the Funnel-Offer name current, and the Funnel- Name offer, am I right
That would happen upon purchase but would depend on what tool you're using as either a checkout cart. It would have to integrated with MailerLite so upon purchase they could be added to group!
Hey Nicks! So sorry about that! We'll make sure to take note of this for all new videos. I do have a blog on this case it's easier to follow, please see it here: www.yourcontentempire.com/live-build-sales-funnel/

Ive watched other videos on this and this one is by far the easiest to understand thank you !
