We don't need more jaggi vasudevs, we need more people to discover their own originality.
I feel we've lost the feminine energy over the last 2000 plus years. We've been taught that we have dominion over our planet leading to hyper masculinity and the domination of left brain thinking and the lose of the creative nurturing aspect of the feminine right brain. We're out of balance due to an overly masculine way of thought. We run around trying to dominate everything in our path instead of cooperating and nurturing life. I see conflict between cultures imposing their will and beliefs on other's unjustly as the cause of much suffering. So much conflict and domination and no cooperation and compassion, how sad ! Ignorance backed with arrogance is disaster in motion.

In the same way we can speak of "hot" and "cold" meaning the collection or dissipation of heat; there is the same such contrast with the masculine and feminine qualities, except they describe the dissipation or collection of energy.
I'd love to talk with Sadhguru about European paganism once. What he often refers to as the western culture, western ideology, western philosophy or here - western alchemy, is an import from middle east, that came to us with enforced Christianity, destroying our culture and cutting our roots. We once were a culture of many peoples who's worship was towards nature, and who's philosophies were based on observation of it. We could never become as peaceful as the Indians due to harsh climate, but the real terrible wars only came after the christianisation.
Our gods and our ways of life were in fact not so different from the Indo-Aryan, we too had mystics, holy hermits, gurus and rituals. We had few temples, as most places of worship were under the open sky, where with our feet on the ground, the spirit could roam free. We had initiation rites to open up the energy conduits within growing bodies and minds. We had ways to attain and keep great health and hygiene. All of that was taken away from us when our very spirit was invaded by a force from outside.
Are you a pagan of shamanism ? imagine design which takes into account the existence of Shamanism on Earth : the Great Pyramid of Egypt... North side describes all Shamanism on Earth.. East describes Hindu-Buddhism... Paganism was never a sophisticated religion.
It was just out of this world tales of gods with qualities just as bad as humans, and whom humans had to sacrifice to in order to appease them.
It was always crude and never about inner transformation.
