@@andres_decastro I own 2 ISO units.... been at it for a while. Even the versions that have bnc connections as opposed to hdmi don't do 4k. For 4k you have to go to the non-consumer models and then you're into big dollars. Rack mount stuff.
That’s absolutely crazy, 2024 and no 4K output?? Man I really appreciate the comment for anyone looking at the ISO as an alternative. How do you find the devices that you own are you happy with them?
@@andres_decastro overall yes. The reason I ended up with 2 is that the first one's monitor out died and was not worth repairing but still works as my daily desktop unit. if you use good cameras, lenses and lighting you can do just fine on reg full hd. In the end, audio still matters more than video and I do that totally separaately.
An even better way would be to use the Atem Mini Extreme Iso, it also creates a Davinci file with all cuts so you can fine tune and recut your recording
Thank you I really appreciate the comment, I just thought I’d share the most basic info I wish I got the first day! 😂😂 do you use the mini pro or the ISO?
If you have it setup correctly you can do both if you want, either have 1 edit done by the time you finish your livestream/podcast or if you want to keep the raw files and do it in post it is also an option, you will need to connect an SSD drive into it if you want the raw files, are you considering getting one of these?
Mate, the ISO does not provide 4K - It may make it easier to swap files in post if you use Davinci Resolve but this line is not 4k
No way really?? I did so much research I thought it gave out 4K image 🤦♂️🤦♂️ thanks for commenting

Totally agree audio can give you a much better ROI than visuals sometimes, very interesting channel you have just subbed! 🔥🔥

Good info and your right, it's not super clear how to use this thing once we get it. Thanks for the info!

So does it bake in the edits and create one long file or do you still get multiple files?

Kan man bruge DJI action 5 som kamera da det jo har et usb c udgang ?
Do you mean to connect it into the atem mini pro? Yeah it shouldn’t be an issue at all
@ ja hvis man har to action 5 kamera og så bruger dem til at skifte imellem
Yeah 100% I think it would work! What kind of project are you thinking to use it for?
@ jeg laver mest sådan lidt for sjov interview af venner. For at øve mig.
