Replace brake lever / mirror support | Vespa

Has your mirror broken off or did you fall with your Vespa? The most economical solution is then to replace the lever / mirror support. In this video we show how you can easily replace it yourself.

i'm having a hard time disconnecting the brake cable, the assembly won't come out nearly as much as in the video even if i loosen the bolt all the way

If you have completely loosened the cable at the rear wheel it should work, but not if the inner cable is completely rusted.

Hoe krijg ik die linker handvat lost zonder het kapot te maken

Proberen eraf te schuiven. Eventueel gebruik maken van een föhn en het handvat op warmen óf wat kruip olie onderspuiten. Uiteraard bij gebruik van kruipolie goed ontvetten! Anders zal het handvat telkens los komen.

@@zandrishop Je kan hiervoor ook remreiniger gebruiken.
Dat spuit je makkelijk tussen het handvat en het is gelijk te gebruiken om het stuur onder het handvat te reinigen.
De remreiniger verdampt snel en laat verder geen sporen na.

Als je de complete rempomp gaat vervangen, ja dan wel. Alleen de remhevel, is ook ietsjes anders.
