I had a 1275 Marina (Yeah, yeah , I know...) With a "Gold Seal" reconditioned A+ engine. That was a beautiful engine, so carefully hand built. I wish I'd kept that engine when my Brother totalled the car.
lads need to get in touch with a cnc machine shop. I could do all this machining in les than 5 mins. cnc machines are so much faster then manual machines. and once you have made the program and you have the tools in the machine , you could run a 20 blocks of. you could do a big batch , save allot of time and money . extremely accurate and repeatable .
Hi Steve, MED profisonal and real creative, I need your recommendation for overhull AP automatic transmission 4-speed for 1999-2000 mini cooper because Planetary gears of the gear train assmply, top and reverse clutch assembly its effct, where can I get replacement gears or used one to overhaul my trainee. Or I swap it to manual gearbox. Best regards
Wow didn't know there was such similarity. I am a Mini fan and it's sad that Mini a series engines are being pinched for Midgets. Still if it keeps classics running it's a good thing.

The Marina block isn't an A+ block but the Ital block is.
I've wondered about this in the past, now I know.

you can swap the auto box to manual on auto block .. engine block bell housing faces are different

a mini IS an inline.. 4.. you mean.. transverse (some cal them east west) vs longitudinal (north south)
