So excited to see these. I got so excited to see the opal. That is my birthstone too. Then you showed the point!!! It is now on my wish list. Her oops are sold out. Thank you
I have never heard of them. I have an October birthday too. I will definitely need to check these out. That opal hook is gorgeous. Those prices are amazing.
@The Spoonie Stitcher I ordered a February today. She makes hooks a little larger than I prefer. But I'm finding projects that need a little larger hook. I hope she makes some May. That is my birthday. I am turning 75 this year. A hook from her will be a special gift to myself. I love the colors of purple and green.
Just received my crochet Alexandrite 5mm and 4mm (both Alexandrite) and I fall in love!! Normally I don’t like birthstone items but because I love crocheting I just had to get them! Right now I am just doing a normal granny square blanket. So far it’s greats :)
Thank you for sharing these and your review! I love when we can actually see what we would get if we ordered too! Those are really pretty! OMG I need a good slipper pattern! I love warm feet!!
I'm also an October baby and that opal hook is🤩. I really want to give them a try... Though I've been spoiled by the smooth stitching of the clover hooks. But boy that pointy head looks sooo nice. Have you tried furls? If so how do these compare?
It is beautiful, but truly looks like a Furls hook in Cream. “Oops” hooks are like Furls Seconds or Mystery hooks. They have cosmetic flaws, or the length is not quite right, or the actual hook size may be stamped with the wrong hook size and mm. I suggest if you humored Oops hooks you size your hooks.
That’s true but there are a few things OPhire does differently. Oops hooks are only mistakes due to color. I’ve tested all of mine. They all work beautifully and are the correct size. Only flaw is in their colors. Also OPhire hooks are significantly shorter than furls. Which is great for smaller hands or people who don’t like long shafts. And one big thing that I just love about this company (besides price which is phenomenal) is the pointy head. Furls hooks don’t have have that. Wish they did. However, if you want a Furls dupe try Ommi or Divit Shilp on Amazon. Those are almost exactly the same.
May you stay great!
The opal looks beautiful. I expected them to be more expensive.
They look amazing I would certainly love to try one, one day. Thank you for sharing and I hope you have a lovely day. x
You should! Thank you. You as well.
The hooks are gorgeous!!!

@@thespooniestitcher I only use Furls hooks the majority of my crochet but I do have Ommi hooks and a couple of Divit Shilps.
Do they work on lily sugar and cream cotton yarn?
Yep!
@thespooniestitcher can you do a lil vid ...
