It still funny to me that HG decide to give Rosmontis her own drone and big Aoe damage that can also reveal invisibility just to she can get revenge on Wisadel
They left out the part I liked the most about the old DoS, the timed survival stages where you only had to hold until the clock ran out, not needing to kill anything.
I want to see directors cut of Lutonada fighting on the swamp stage Btw I like how you making a vid talking about biggest wasted potential with DoS right after release of better DoS2
Makes video to check out Vector Breakthrough Literally half the video OMG LUTONADA DID A THING this is what peak simping looks like Total time Spend recording this: A bit less than 60 minutes Only thing I cut was 25 minutes of playing around with Lutonada on that swamp stage (and DC soloing the previous stage a 2nd time) Thoughts about the event itself: I can definetly see the similarities to DoS, evolving boss few enemies with super high stats etc. Difficulty is far lower than DoS though, we beat the equvalent of A3 and it felt close to a normal event so I presume the stages unlocking in a few days will be close to EX stages for difficulty. Boss is much simpler than Sauron bro, and you end up abusing their mechanics just by playing naturally, maybe there will be a big twist that pushes the boss into scary territorry on the final map but for now they're a freebie. The buffs themselves are OK, you're definetly not forced to used them but there are more interesting than just stats, I particularly like the shield buff, it can allow you to do a lot of goofy shit if you want to abuse it. Not a fan of buffs being locked behind side fights that lock out your operators in principal. The event isn't hard enough for this to meaningfully affect a strong account but it can be hurtful for newer accounts. So it doesn't add much for a tryhard (u don't need to think too much about what operators you burn) While it screws over very new players out of the buffs. Not sure how a new acc fares against this in any case, stats are inflated but not to DoS levels and Rosmo grants you a massive ATK buff so you will likely be fine as long as you interact with her mechanic. Overall it might turn out they dialed the down the difficulty way too much but I can't say for sure until we see the final boss form.
The buffs from left to right for anyone else who's also curious (I'm not well versed in Chinese so this is educated guessing with the help of google translate): Vector Tactical Equipment HP -50%, allies within the range (presumably after destroying the Equipment) recover 3% HP each second. Operator defense +300, gain 2 shields on deployment Enemy ATK -15%, leader enemies have an additional -15% ATK Allies have status immunity (Wait this sounds kinda interesting unless I translated incorrectly. It's immune to some status at least), self-explosion damage of the Equipment -50%
There translated official post on reddit, and it really indeed said that friendly units become immune to status effect which is crazy. Also the upcoming buffs are just as insane like: Friendly units gain ATK +15%, friendly units in the field gain +80 ASPD and 1 SP per second. Operators gain 10 SP upon deployment. Enemy weight -3, initial DP +10. When there are operators nearby an operator, gain camouflauge. This make wonder how much difficult the final stage will be if these are the buffs even though we have Wisadel.
We've all been in that situation where you want someone to work, even though a myriad of other options would work better. That's when you know you're attached to a unit.
6:30 Interlocking Competition was the name I had multiple friends think this was going to be a sequel to that event but it turns out this is more of a hodgepodge of concepts between IC/DoS/TfN. I think the overall concept is super interesting but it still ultimately feels half baked. The timer on the side-maps is exactly like the Face-off nodes in IS5 - which is a flaw in of itself because the maps heavily favor sustain and crowd control abilities like slow (i.e. Indigo, Dorothy, Astgenne, Pushers/Pullers etc); the last map has enemies that are a tinge too bulky where you need quite a hefty amount of AoE. I wish the maps were a little friendlier to melee units that don't have self sustain (the healing tile on map 1 doesn't count all too much since you usually still need additional healing like Jaye's S2) or give enemies more chances to path around the map before they just eff-off. As well, on side-map 4 the AoE Caster has a morbillion attack lol, he can 1-2 shot any unit. I think the buffs are great at least, Rosmontis isn't nearly as bad as the Diablo which is a downgrade but I appreciate the buffs don't detract from your points, you can even farm the easier stages if you so wish. But this stuff still needs more time in the oven. Certainly more like DoS than IC, but it's a step in the right direction! Also the music rocks, I think we all agree on that.
Finally they give a mode that really forces you to build a variety of operator, especially the *4 one. This mode finally justifies me starting to build all of the high value *4.
Oh yeah, we got Pallas event with this trick. I liked the system, even if it was meant for more built up accounts that have operators to count out. I can understand them making it only a few units per 1 with 1/2 per it, but would love if it's more restrictive as a hard mode without rewards, just to try and spread out resources in a more tactical way. Was a lot more limited in units back in the day and felt fun. :D
Do you have every single operator maxed out at E2 because sometimes it feels like youtubers do. I don't know if the gap between my roster and theirs is the amount of OP they dump into clearing stages for mats, but I always run out of LMD since maxing out a 6 star costs over 1 million

Tbh I really thought that they brought back Trauma Intervention when I saw the timer. Turned out the opposite happened...

Omg every time I see Totter skin I want that god damn summer event already
Honestly, the idea seems very good, and the event looks very fun. It's probably a mix of Pallas' Interlocking + DoS. I dig it.
Remember when you killed Rosmontis with Aak for that one clear? Yeah shes taking her revenge now

status immunity is for the coffins Ros drops - they stun the operator they land on otherwise.
