Sure, they're alluded to (seeing Articuno from binoculars, journal entries referencing Mew and Mewtwo in the Cinnabar Mansion), but never once does a "cutscene" trigger where an NPC says, "The Pokemon [name] is a thing of legends! [provides info]." "But McSoy, you person you!" you exclaim. "It wasn't until RSE that legendaries became part of the main plot lines!". Well, sorta. While Gold and Silver also alluded to the Beasts and Birds, Crystal version forces you into Burned Tower, where Eusine gushes about Suicune, and then Suicune takes notice of you. Come to think of it, I honestly wouldn't mind having a main game where the legendaries _aren't_ a part of the plot again.
There's a Bird Keeper on Route 14, I believe it is, who specifically states that the "Legendary Pokémon are all birds of prey"! It's in the last Part 8 of my Blue Version Prof Oak Challenge which is on my very Channel!

IIRC every town in Kanto (as well as in the other games too) is based on a real life city, not just Saffron and Celadon. I believe Vermilion is Yokohama due to the harbor. Ecruteak is Kyoto (traditional Japanese city), Hau'oli is Honolulu (biggest city in Hawaii) and so on and so forth.
To get to the truck I would always get the cut HM and then black out against trainers nearby. The SS Anne would stay in harbor as long as you didn't enter and leave the ship again, so you could still come back later with surf and go check out the truck.
The reason for potions omission in the first town was because they are strong early on, however early in development you could purchase and sell Pokemon from the PokéMart. Also early on in development when you lost a match the winner would take half your team so if you had six it would take three with no way of getting them back

I believe the names of the regions may have some sort of reference to the real-world counterparts? Such as Alola is definitely a clear reference to a common Hawaiian word "Aloha", which is a word they use to greet people.

Jhoto is referncing the old cities layout of it's real world counter part which is the Kansai region of Japan. I've looked up Hoenn and Shinnoh, these two basically don't directly reference the real world counterparts. Hoenn basically means "abundant relations", and Shinnoh means "Mysteries of gods", no wonder the pokemon god is from Shinnoh.

I never even thought about that. I recently set up a false swipe user in Sword and Shield to catch pokemon and used a Gallade. I think it's the best option in Sword and Shield, and possibly even other games, since it's the only Pokemon in Sword and Shield with False Swipe and Hypnosis

I never even thought about that. I recently set up a false swipe user in Sword and Shield to catch pokemon and used a Gallade. I think it's the best option in Sword and Shield, and possibly even other games, since it's the only Pokemon in Sword and Shield with False Swipe and Hypnosis
@@PaPaSea but there is such more to the false swipe users like inlicting status durability immunities abilities that help out like scrappy on Pangoro he can false swipe literally anything has acces to bulk up and with careful or sassy nature and investment in hp and sp def can be really bulky and hit really strong
There is technician that boost false swipe power breloom can learn it spore and bulk up at the same time as well synthesis
But false swipe also goes well with scyther and scizor both if them have different immunities there is galade as well there is lots of pokemon that do complement false swipe one way or another its a huge topic and pokemon like that always can help the team in differen ways as well some can lear sweet scent some thief

I've only played through XY twice, and one time I played through about half before putting it down. As for my favorite gen it's gen 4, and I've played through gen 4 at least 6 times that I can remember
@@PaPaSea Honestly nowdays restarted and play all time gen 4 on my phone having all generetions .I realy want to see new generetions what difrenses have than older .Because older gens i was spending ouhrs and playing alone not shiny hunting just all time restarting the game and compliting it over and over again until i get bored with theme and until now i can t bored them

Can I just say that I hate the word Kantonian and other words like it? Kantonian and Galarian just sound stupid to me for some reason and it's annoying. Just say that you're "from Kanto" or whatever.

Most Mega Pokemon from XY are from Kanto, only Kanto Pokemon got Alolan forms and even the Gigantamac forms are mostly from Kanto. I cant even...
