@noTTYLer97 I'm not sure but if you go to crutchfield.com it may have a wiring diagram of your amp. I found mine on there but it was backwards. I ended up finding one on a lexus forum
@ I see that but connecting to the speaker would give the music signal, I’m asking for the amp cut on wire to tell the amp to turn on. Would that just be the constant power?
You'd have to buy an amp that turned on and off with a signal. Or buy a remote turn on device that turns on and off with a signal like my dm-608 processor. It detects a signal and turns everything on or off
Nice Job! Giving me ideas to help me convert my dads Lincoln to some aftermarket amps. I know in his vehicle all the speakers are on a crossover network, does the dsp you choose combine all the signals together to get the full range sound and not just certain frequencies ?
Yes I can sum up multiple channels. I got to thinking last night if the back doors are 2 way, it probably has a full range signal with a capacitor or something on the tweeter. Could duplicate that signal for the fronts
hey bro I have the same car, I just bought an jbl bass pro hub that goes into the spare tire, I just need to get the remote wire and signal, can I get those thru the factory amp? If so from witch speakers should I get the signal from? Rear door speakers or front door speakers?
@eliaschami5614 you can get your signal from the rear speakers because it has the most bass but there's not really a remote turn on with the factory system
for the best ground drill a hole on the floor around the area where the spare tire would be. the area you have it at in the video is a piece thats glued and spot welded to the chassis. the spot welds are the only solid metal to metal contact. its also going to create heat and resistance which will shorten the life of the secondary battery. ive done it and i dont want you to go through the same thing. if you have a multimeter set it on the ohms settings, place the positive lead inside touching an edge of the hole then have the negative lead touch the negative terminal of your secondary battery (nothing hooked to the positive of the battery) or the negative terminal of an amp. it should be 0ohm anything higher is bad
Hi! Thanks for uploading the Project Lexus build. Your build turned out super nice and clean! I am looking to add a sub to this same car that you have. You said you ran a 0 gauge wire through the firewall. Can you please describe to me how exactly and where you ran the power wire to get it from your battery to inside the car? Thank you so much!
Hard to describe but there's an opening near the wheel well the comes through around the fuse box/brake pedal area. A grommets you can open up and fish wire through. It's not fun. Was tempted to run the wire underneath the car like my previous build but chose otherwise.
Bro there's another way to ground the second battery if you don't want to drill a hole. if you have room to run another 0awg wire, have the negative of the secondary battery connect to the negative of your main battery. also could you just place the secondary battery on the spot where the spare goes. just have it secured so it wont more around
Did you splice the speaker wires before the factory amp (going in) or after (going out)?
I don't remember. Most likely after.
Do you know if that wiring diagram is the same for 2015 es300h?

what wire did you tap into for Amp signal wire?
@nntstudios there's only one amp and it's in the same spot as the video however you can just use the speaker wire at the speakers

@@eliaschami5614 does your sub have the option to turn on and off with a signal instead of the remote?
@ it's a powered subwoofer but no I don't think it turns off on its own

@@Kpaceguy does the factory radio have that remote signal wire?
@eliaschami5614 no it just kills power completely

Use a t splicer. A pack is cheap at the part store fam.
The reason the pins are reversed is because its numbered as if looking at the inside of the plug
what year and model Lexus is this?
17 nx
I have a 2017 RX350 and i am trying to find where the amp is located.@@Kpaceguy
In the newer nx the amp is under the center console i think. I wish it was in the back 😕
If you're thinking of tapping into the factory amp, just do it at the speakers themselves
Where do you get the audio signal into your amp from?
Door speakers

I actually did that. You'll see the results in the next upload
