Just FYI, in the United States it is illegal, if they offer any warranty, to void it due to a customer opening the device, and the FTC is cracking down on companies.

sure, but what can you do about it? They will refuse to replace something that has been tampered with and the only way you can argue it is in court where almost everyone is at a huge disadvantage against a billion dollar corporation

it's actually illegal in most countries to added stickers that voids the warranty of the product so you should be fine
In regards to the Xbox storage upgrade:
Can I replace the old drive with a higher capacity drive without any issues or do I HAVE to get one that matches the old drive in capacity? I have an Xbox One X with a 1TB hard drive inside. If I replace that drive with a 2TB SSD, do I have to do anything extra?
the example in the video is doing exactly what you want to do, putting a 2TB SSD into a 1TB One X
it will work fine if you use a 2tb

I think if ypu have a broken xbox series s or x, and you still have your xbox onw laying around, I think ypu could put in the Ssd thats in one of the series x/s. Then I think you could put that ssd in your old Xbox one. And then you might have a xbox series x/s running on your old console. Please tell me if im wrong, because this is entirely theoretical.
Merely swapping the Xone's HDD for a Series SSD isn't gonna make your Xone a Series for the same reason deleting the backseat won't change an EcoBoost Mustang into a GT350R - the storage capacity upgrade don't mean anything without the power of the Series CPU/GPU/RAM...

You can't share EA or Ubisoft games because they launch with a separate launcher

@@junaidbadgujar3477 right, so you can play EA and Ubisoft games while you're logged into your friends account but only one person can play that game at a time. You cannot share and play EA and Ubisoft games together because it uses a separate launcher to verify.
