I put my leather flats in the washing machine and I searched up on google if it’s ok but they said not to so now I’m scared!!!

I read that as well originally and I was scared to wash them for a long while, but I’ve washed mine several times ever since and they always came out perfectly fine. I would recommend to wash them in cold water just in case, but I’ve never had any problems washing leather flats in the washing machine. :)

@@elesdancing - do they shrink a little (get smaller) even in cold water? Curious for anyone who feels they are too baggy for their feet.

Hi! I haven’t found that they shrink, no. But they can get a bit stiff (especially the canvas shoes), and they soften again after you wear them a couple of times. 😊

I washed my canvas ballet shoes (brand new) and they came out with a weird blue stain!!! Plz help...my mom is going to kill me. I have washed my ballet flats for years and this has never happened. What do I do to get it out?? 😭😥

I’m not sure what the problem could be! Did you wash them with a any blue garments that could have dyed them? If that’s the case, you could try to wash them again with one of those “colour run remover” products to try to get rid of the stain. Unfortunately, dye can be quite hard to remove. I’m so sorry I haven’t got any better advice, best of luck getting rid of the stain!

@@elesdancing There was nothing I washed with them that was blue. I eventually deluded out some bleach. Mostly water...and a tiny bit of bleach and hoped it wouldn’t turn them white. It actually worked!! Thank you so much!! ❤️
