All parts except door checked out. Will a bad door switch stop dryer from powering up?

A bad door switch definitely will stop the dryer from starting.
It is very recommended to test also the door switch

Yeah, set your multimeter on "continuation mode" lol

This is one of the most basic settings on a multimeter.
Closed circuit will make a sound or a light (in silent mode)
