Everything passes the test expcept the timer on my dryer.So I ordered a new one. Same problem. Could their be another issue?

As a appliance DIYer (Not by choice) Stumbling around the internet trying to find model with same issues and of course nobody in the world has my old appliances it sucks. Your video was very quick (I have a short attention span) very concise (I have every tool known to man ISH) and did I say quick? Thanks guys. The tips were very helpful.

Here’s a real test for all you diagnostic guys out there. I have a basic Maytag electric dryer less than 5 years old that keeps blowing the fuse at the fusebox. The dryer is getting power and it lights off just fine and gets hot. It runs for approx 10-15 mins then blows the breaker. I have watched approx 12 videos including this one on how to diagnose the various switches, thermistor, thermostat and parts inside the back service panel. I have used the multimeter to test all those parts and I am getting continuity on everything. What could be causing this thing to blow the breaker???

How does one replace the convection fan in a wall oven? Does one need to remove it from the wall?

You replaced the bearing cup, but what about the bearing hitch? With that much labor done, you might as well replace that while you're in there. On mine, that was heavily worn, and likely the main reason for all the noise. The bearing hitch is shown at 1:17 in my video: th-cam.com/video/2hT6MMTLKlY/w-d-xo.html The hitch and cup were sold as a pair for about $12 on eBay.

Many times a sock or something small get stuck in the drain pump. Clear it out and everything works again. But I’ve got a case where the washer won’t drain or spin. If I jump 120 V to the drain pump, it will drain out, but it still won’t spin. Is the problem a bad lid switch or a bad controller? Note that I don’t hear the timer motor running during the drain and spin phase. I think the timer is supposed to pause while the drain pump is running; but when the water pressure level switch detects zero water, then I think the timer is supposed to start running again, and engage the main drive motor to spin the tub. Can anybody confirm that operation?

I replaced both roller wheels. I replaced the blower fan wheel. Now it sounds like it has triple the air flow and a loud droning sound

Model LER8620PW1 - My dryer runs, air blows, no heat, timer does not advance. I just tested all the items mentioned in this video. There is continuity across all terminals. This video mentions that it might be a motor problem if all tests are okay. How does a faulty motor cause this problem? Thanks for the video.

So one of my burners has 3 settings and the small middle heating element isn't turning on. My switch was bad (no continuity on the smallest setting - the others worked), but the replacement seems to have the same issue. It was refurbished, so maybe it really has the same issue? If not, could there be a different issue?

I tried this and I still get a dC error code (door not closed). What's the next step?

Does it matter which wire goes onto which prong?

have a problem with the dryer! works but 40min goes to a 1 and stops working! I changed the metal bars of moisture sensor and the problem continues.

You need to give how check of this is the problem . Not just change parts
