This was a really good episode, thank you very much! Biden is trying to give Putin a chance, knowing Putin he (Putin) will blow it (might already have done so). Once he does then it's back to stupid sanctions. I would prefer the USA to be competing against China, not against China+Russia, if possible. We should nonetheless build a big ol' base in Poland (and Germany should rearm instead of cheaping out and putting it on Poland).
Great episode! Will Europe build a Danube --> Adriatic sea canal (to bypass Turkey) ? Will Europe build a Danube --> Aegean sea canal (to bypass Turkey) ? Will Europe build a Black sea (via Bulgaria/Greece) --> Thracian Sea canal (Or is this too close to Turkey -- a historic aggressor in the area?)
It was partitioned, not dissolved. Slovakia was a sovereign state prior to the Soviet invasion with the complicity of the Anglo-American bloc. The Slovaks are largely devout Catholics. The Czechs are largely secularists.

Your videos are super good. The Slovak point of view in this video is very accurate. The only thing to add would be that whenever there is a meeting of high level representatives of V4, there is always a public debate, whether the V4 is still useful. Anyway, I am thrilled to see a geopolitical channel from my home region of Central Europe, we need more of those. High production quality, interesting topics... you would deserve at least 10 times more subs and views. Keep up the good work!

The truth about the huge growth of the Polish economy is that Germany has made Poland their extended work bench. However the Poles definitely benefit from this just as much as the German companies do.
Jein. Cheap labor for sure and outsourcing the Wehrmacht oops Bundeswehr to Poland is cunning in a short term greedy vicious way but stupid, Poland might slow down the C.A. but is not strong enough to stop the T-72s which may poor through that nice flat indefensible landscape. And then what?
The largest investor in Poland is American capital. Labor costs in Poland are not among the lowest in the EU, so it is rather a combination of several factors of labor costs, the quality of the education system, geographic location and the size of the internal market that makes the country competitive in terms of acquiring investment capital and know-how. Today, Poland has a much more innovative economy than Spain and is approaching the level of Italy, boy, you are talking about the reality from a decade ago, today, research and development centers are also built in Poland, not only screw factories.
@@QuizmasterLaw Poland could have excellent relations with Russia if only Poland gave up competing with Russia for influence in Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine. For Poland, the V4 is only an alternative political substrate, not a strategic direction.
Poland gets five times more than what anyone gets from European funding that’s why. While others countries pay to be in the EU, Poland gets a shit tone of money from the EU.
Hungarian here. Nobody - except for extremists - wants to really reverse Trianon. The main goals nowadays are minority rights and autonomy for the Hungarian minorities living in the surrounding countries.
As a romanian I would support your country reversing the Trainon treaty with one condition. Transylvania remains part of Romania. We can't even give it to you because it's forbided by our Consitution. I would like, on the other hand, for the hungarians in Transylvania to be given more power, autonomy, and identity but still remain in Romania as an equal partner. Kinda like a personal union status. We have our divergences from before. But it doesn't matter the historical truth, your people are angry at us. So this would be best for all. In this way we could also focus on the important matters instead of criticizing each other. After all, that's how we survived the Ottomans. So for me, my only condition would be for this new semi autonomous state to maintain the same goals as the country that is in and for the pool of resources and decision making to be shared between them. It's hard to partition territory as an independent state entity and it damages the economy of both the old and the new country. So I think that this would be a better move. I'm open to hear your suggestions. But I warn you that partition of territory is not an answer. For instance, I don't even care anymore about the territory that we had from Greater Romania or from the times of Dacia. Why? Because the focus is not on acquiring territories but maintaining them and increasing their overall output. Land with no value does nothing to the economy and so I can he happy that the romanians that reside in those territories have equal rights as the main target group. We can't commit sepuku either to our country, by partitioning the territory entirely, but we can't let this divergences to consume us either. It's better if we would be united and it would make it harder for other countries to pressure us in doing things that we don't agree with. I'm also open for an alliance with Hungary in the future as a guarantee of friendship after this personal union project would be implemented. My reasoning for this suggestion is because by letting ourselves be divided, we lose. And also, because I really value the Byzantine Empire and when I first hear about the Bulgarian revolt and how a Wallachian leader of proto Romanians helped destabilize the Byzantine Empire after it was given a lot of rights in the Empire just to work on a single goal on maintaing the empire unity, I got disgusted because of this fact. Because my Wallachians would have been better of in the Byzantine Empire than in a newly formed state which lacked infrastructure and all of that. I will be waiting for an answer.

@@novaimperialis Thank you for your answer! My suggestion is not partition, but minority rights and autonomy for Hungarians in the surrounding countries. @@karpatiafan3323 Look at this Hungarian extremist here. Of course Trianon remains a dark hour in the history of Hungary. But there is not even the slightest chance to rewind the 100 years that passed since Trianon. What the heck would Hungary do with the millions of Romanians living now in Transsylvania? Expel them, and do even more harm? No, that is not the way to go for sure.
@@richardschenk4058 Understood. My response was based on the assumption that this would not be enough. So regarding this hungarians actually are pretty autonomous in the region. We have a political party dedicated to the hungarian minorities and the language spoken in the regions with a significant portion of hungarians is hungarian in both administration and day to day activities. So then I think that there's a misconception between what the conditions really are and what is presented. I think it's due to our biases. Anyway, I say this as someone who grew a disdain for Hungary for what it did in the past(not necessarily hungarians, but rulers). But I understood that it's better to have friends than enemies and I always liked this concept of making your friend an ally with which you could collaborate for mutual beneficial goals. Besides this, I learned to appreciate Hungary and hungarians for other things. For instance, creating the necessary infrastructure in Transylvania which made it to be one of Romania most developed regions, the alliances that we had in the past against the Ottomans, the trade routes created, etc. Those are just to name a few. Now, I'm even disgusted for being against your group because I understood that we are like pieces of puzzle. We connect and together we sustain each other in a coherent structure formed based on this connection. And it is a loss if instead of aknowledging this connection, instead we hurt ourselves by damaging the other which is the unconscious representation of ourself, or what we lack as well and secretly desire.

6:43 Hungary does not claim her lost territories. In fact I haven't met any sane Hungarian above the age of 16 dreaming about claiming them. Most Hungarians wish our communities outside the new borders were respected enough to simply receive political autonomy.
There are numerous Hungarian secret service agents in Romania, Ukraine, Slovakia and Serbia and the number of diplomats are oddly high as well. I am convinced that the current government is aiming to position itself well to be able to regain some of the lost territories in case an opportunity comes. Despite it being very unlikely, Orban is prepared for it.
Hungarians are a small minority in the southern part of Slovakia. After a 1000 year subjugation by the Hungarians, if they want autonomy, they can go across the border. You cannot try to forcefully assimilate an ethnic and erase their national feelings and then claiming a need for political autonomy. Brussels treats Poland simply as a colony. The one which Brussels has certainly developed, but at the same time taking care about not allowing the Poles to have their country for their own. Personally I think that the Law and Justice should just massively nationalize all of it, and then turn into capitalism to unleash Poland's full potential. Of course the first step will infuriate the European Union, so whether Law and Justice will have the balls to do it, is a different case. But if they do it and repel the outrage from EU, Poland might develop the influence in Belarus and Ukraine, while proposing the Russians "Neither of us should make any annexations upon these lands, let's treat them as buffer states". But before such phase even begins, Poland must repel the diplomatic aggression from Brussels. And that's where the polish-hungarian interests will coexist.

No sane people will believe that Greater Hungary will ever be restored. I know well enough who is Viktor Orbán, whom I detest, to say that this is not his aim. Yes he has a Greater Hungary map on his office's wall, but that's nostalgia, and populism. I don't deny however, that a less ambitious border redrawing can be in his mind, maybe as an aftermath of a third world war. The video brings this up to highlight his friendship with Russia and his relationship problem with Slovakia. This is still a good point, but I wanted to add nuance, because the way this video said, it was just half true.
It´s always educational to have hungarians commenting politics. Without them we would have never known (or cared) who was the first inhabitant of central Europe.
I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the V4 group. Sure each nation has its own priorities and will doubtless pursue them. But don't forget that they also share some deep historical ties that are hard to ignore. To give one example, during World War 2 Poland was very obviously opposed to Nazi Germany, Hungary, however, was an ally of the same country. Yet, during the Warsaw Uprising of 1944, Hungarian units refused to assist their ally in the suppression of the Poles, despite being stationed very close by. Indeed some men of the Hungarian Army even joined the Polish Home Army in the city. A strong foundation for that friendship is the centuries of standing together against the Ottoman Empire's attempts to conquer Mitteleuropa. Hungary even cited the Poles' salvation of Vienna and Hungary in 1682 as the reason they would not turn their weapons on Poles. Interestingly, that also explains why the V4 nations tend to regard the eu's all-welcoming approach to Syrian refugees differently to the western European nations who dominate the eu. Hungarians, Poles, Czechs and Slovaks see columns of young, middle-eastern men walking up the roads from Turkey somewhat less benignly than the people of Belgium and France whose memory of refugees is coloured by their own grandparents' experiences escaping German panzer columns in 1940.
The examples you gave (especially the WW2 one) literally contradict your point. Don't you see that? Despite alleged common interests Czechoslovakia, Poland and Hungary remained in conflict not only during the Interwar period and WW2 but also through centuries before. Historical ties aren't enough to form a block of countries. You need common interests for that.
@@kamilszadkowski8864 You mean the example I gave, I mentioned two examples, of which only one, the Warsaw Uprising had the Poles and the Hungarians on opposite sides. And even then, a sense of solidarity prevented the Hungarians from attacking the Poles when, technically, they would have been well within their rights and possibly militarily correct to do so. I also didn't deny that the V4 countries have differing priorities upon which they will act when they feel the need. What I said was "don't write the group off so quickly". Why? Because alongside the differences, highlighted in the article, there is also a lot of common history much spent dealing with a common foe. In 16832 the Hungarians had been forced to come to an accommodation with the Turks - in essence they collaborated (although from what I read they did as little co-operating as they could) That doesn't mean they don't recognise the dramatic change Sobieski brought about by defeating the Turks outside Vienna and then going on to chase them out of a lot of Hungarian territory. The V4 nations are independent nations with independent national priorities. This means that there will be times the appear to act against each other. But equally they are 4 nations that share a lot of common history and I suspect there will be many more times when that history and modern common interests combine to make them act together in mutual co-operation.

Hungary may have lost a lot of its territory, but look at Lithuania now and look at it like 400 years ago. Or Germany before and after WW1, where they lost soo much land for a war they didn’t start.
😂 I mean, some of the lost territories were just lost territory of other nations Eg the Slovak and Czech part, both were there before Hungarians were, then lost their territory, then gained it again.
Thanks for mentioning Germany. But the loss of territory after WW1 was bearable, because in some of these areas ethnic Poles, Danes and French were the majority. But after WW2 Germany lost additional 25% of her territory (of the interwar period) with an almost 100% German majority.
As a Czech there I have to make one point: Yes Visegrád isn't a very coherent group and it's pretty nonsensical how other countries often talk about it in collective terms. Since the member states have expelled Soviet troops and later entered NATO and EU, Visegrád has no real agenda apart from just being good neighbors. But that in itself is an important thing. Between the two world wars, there was basically a cold war between Czechoslovakia and Hungary. Up until 1933 Hungarians, not Germans, were considered the greatest threat to Czechoslovak democracy and territorial integrity, while relations with Poland have also been very bad. After WW2 all three countries became gradually (more like instantly in case of Hungary and Poland since they were occupied already in 1945) part of the Soviet sphere of influence and "had" to be friends under Moscow's supervision despite their disputes. So after 1989 Czechoslovaks, Poles and Hungarians didn’t really know whether they can be friends "voluntarily" or whether Czechoslovaks and Poles will once again fight over Těšín area, Klodzko, Orava and Spiš, whether Hungary will try to retake Hungarian-speaking territories in Southern Slovakia, and whether Central Europe shall became another Balkans. Presidents Havel, Wałęsa and Göncz (and later also Kováč of Slovakia) managed to signal to all nationalists in their countries that there shouldn’t be new salt added to old wounds. And we live in peace, though I wouldn’t say we're great friends collectively either - Czechs and Slovaks are certainly brother nations today more than before the partition, while Poles and Hungarians like each other. Slovaks on the other hand don’t really get along with Hungarians and Czechs have problems with Poland (or more with Poles mining lignite near the border but also with their homophobic and "pro-life" laws, which is also our problem with Hungary, but generally few Czechs know anything about Hungary). So the whole point of Visegrád is peace and good relations in Central Europe, which is beneficial for us all and frankly for all Europe and world. It has no clear agenda in geopolitical terms, nor has it cultural reasons - as I said Czechs and Slovaks are pretty close, but we have few things in common with Poland and virtually nothing in common with Hungary. Actually Czechia is closest to Austria when it comes to traditions, food, habits and idioms, though we differ in religious matters of course (but that is also the case with our V4 partners)
True, as a Slovak I always looked at the Czech traditions as a very Austrian in influence. Still very familiar and similar to. Us Slovaks, but different. But hey... There is a Historical reason... In Austria-Hungary, Slovaks were under Hungarians, Czechs were under Austrian.
Thank you for sharing this point of view. I've never been to Slovakia but the Czech anywhere are the friendliest central Europeans I've met! I also like Czech food and the cities. It feels like a love child between Germany and Poland to me. God bless Bohemia!
Yea Because Czechs are extremely Germanized, and never resisted German influence. While Poland and Hungary did. I would barely consider Czechs as Slavs, since so much of their culture was shaped by Germans and not by their own destiny.
@@Antekdzi1 Wait, Czechs didn't resist German influence? There was little to none German influence in Poland and Hungary (who actually aren't Slavs btw), since German settlement there cannot be compared with German settlement in Czech Lands. Czech language nearly disappeared in 17th and 18th century, yes. But then from 1770s to 1840s it went through a period of national revival and replaced German once again as no. 1 language. It's true that Czechs are definitely more Western culturally than our Eastern neighbors, and that we are closest to Austrians in many ways (who are also a cultural mix) but we are very proud to call ourselves Slavs and in fact we may be the most Slavophilic (and historically Russophilic) nation of all. Our national identity was basically born from anti-Germanism.
From Hungary and a Hungarian conservative, dare I say, nationalist: This is a very, very incorrect video! Shame on the makers of this video; shame... We have the best relationship with Slovakia thus far in history, and that is something to be cherished! The Slovak Government was very sympathetical and tactful with Hungary and Hungarians (on both side of the border) during the centenial anniversary of Trianon/modern Slovakian statehood. And there was (is) grief but mostly solemn rememberance in Hungary (because of the loss, the memories of innumerable families and communities torn apart by new borders drawn by victorious Western Countries; but contraintuitively certainly not because of the Slovaks celebrating their statehood) but no revisinonism! And I would like to think that Hungary was not spoiling Slovakia's celebrations of it's statehood either. Don't see, how this alleged Hungarian revisionism affects Poland and the Czech Republic though... We do have differing stances on certain matters, but that is normal and to be expected in a loose alliance of 4 INDEPENDENT countries (as oppsed to the federal governments of the USA, Canada; and what our Western European neighbours want the EU to become...). Still more things unite us than what separtes us. And if differences and diverging interests are to be scrutinized, it begs the question: why, oh why are the makers of this video overemphasizing alleged and existing differences in the case of the V4, foreshadowing potential loss of cohesion, and still not pointing out how theese differences, existing today, or just envisioned by the makers of this video, are far less pronounced and far less unsolvable than the differences between any given member of the V4 and Germany, for example, not to mention the EU and it's Brussels institutions as such, or Washington... Personally, I would like to see our countries further deepening the V4 cooperation; not unlike how the revised Międzymorze / Medzimorie/ Tengerköz / Intermarum geopolitical project outlined it in the 1920's. We, the indigenous nations of Central Europe deserve a future where we are our own masters, not Berlin, not Brussels, not Washington, not ewen Moscow (yes, yes, currently indeed the least fearsome in Hungarian minds - and we would know, believe me: 1848/49; 1939/45; 1945-1989)! ** Greetings from Hungary! Long live all of our independent sovereign member states of the V4 - as they are, and yes, that includes modern Slovakia! (Hungarian governmental and popular revisionism my conservative ethnocentric Magyar arse...) P.s.: if one wishes to learn more about Central European regionalism and national interests of the V4 members, don't be basic: please learn the languages of theese Countries, and stop relying solely on ten minutes-long english language videos, there is much too many things lost or willfully ommited in translation... **edited: forgot to mention the Revolution of 1956 as a milestone of Magyar-Soviet/Russian relations
The current Slovak goverment warmed up to the Hungarians on a verbal level. Dont think too much of it. They are nice when they get something from us but aside from stopping the persecution of Slovak-Hungarian double citizens they have done nothing on the level of actual acts. Despite this there are still very strong racist anti-Hungarian voices in the Slovak political elite, not even mentioning the absolutely brainwashed Slovak population that would love to stone to death any historian who dares to question the Slovak propaganda in their history books.
Well, the first thing that should be noted is that Czechoslovakia didn't collapse but it divided peacefully. something we see quite rarely. And yeah, the V4 is an artificial concept that doesn't have any deep agenda. The lack of cooperation isn't all that surprising. Hungary used to oppress Slovakia for centuries and is actively trying to annex the southern part of Slovakia. The V4 group is more or less just for a show.
Not true. Hungary does not want to annex southern part of Slovakia. That part was handed to Slovakia, whereas it was majority Hungarian and along the border. Trianon was a great injustice. And the Hungarian minority is treated badly in Slovakia. Although the present govt seems to be better and has apologized for this. Slovaks used to be part of the Kingdom of Hungary for a thousand years.

This channel is to promote US vision of Central Europe, where Poland should for all cost support countries like Ukraine against Russia. It's funny because we don't have any territorial disputes with Russia.
Economically stronger V4 means stronger Germany and stronger Germany means stronger V4. Germany already trades more with V4 than with France and China. There are some political issues but a strategical allience is beneficial for both sides
Quite spot on points, for example Turkey deployed F-16 jets to Poland very recently and they bought Tb-2 drones from Turkey. Somehow US tries to show Turkey like a Russian ally but it couldn't be more wrong as Turkey adopted carrot and stick policy against Russia in recent years. While buying S-400 and making pipeline deals Turkey also engaged against Russia directly in several countries and it is the only NATO country which repeatedly targeted wagner mercenaries!! Turkey is also heavily supporting and arming Ukraine while what is exactly US doing?? Absolutely nothing expect talking, in fact they even reduced their black sea operations and British navy is trying to fill their gap!! We were saying it was ''putin lover'' trump but biden is no different and actually even acting softer than trump with the recent repealing...
I thought only countries bordering on Black Sea had free access to Bosporus Strait. That being true can't Russia block UK & US Navies from access to Black Sea
@@geraldmeehan8942 Everybody has limited access to Black sea expect Turkey alone, for example even Russia can't sail their submarines through Bosporus!! While it is way worse for non-black sea countries as there is tonnage limit and ships can stay in Black sea for only 21 days. And worst of all tonnage limit isn't for every ship rather entire fleet so if US tries to sail 3 ships they can't be more than 15,000 in total which means only one destoyer could pass. So UK/US navy can't really be a threat to Russian navy in Black sea rather it is only for saying ''im here, you can't do everything'' while US isn't even doing that properly in last few years..
You are mistaken about Viktor Orbán's policies. He couldn't care less about Trianon and its effects or its reversal. He only cares about keeping his power and he will kiss up to anyone, who will help with that. Be it the German automakers, Putin or the Chinese. He's got a whole network to choose from by now and since the EU is impotent (and partly invested in him staying in power through German automakers, for whom he keeps wages low and worker rights non-existent), it will be like that until his own people topple him.
V4 is probably not as relevant today because it's main goals have been achieved, like integration into EU structures etc. Personally I would like to see V4 like a more pragmatic alternative to left leaning tandem Germany - France in European parliament. Voting force for East of Europe.
@Anthony Simmons Lol that lol, lol. No need for us to leave the EU, it'll implode anyway, thanks to the sociopaths in Brussels and to corrupt and/or clueless politicians like Merkel and Micron. But we will tag along as long as it makes economical sense, prolonging EU-s prosperity and sanity as long as we can... As for you Anthony, you are probably a 4th gen Westerner (when counting generations from WWII) thus morally, emotionally and economically bankrupt, but we still wish you luck in your future endeavors.
@Anthony Simmons Anthony, thanks for the constructive attitude. Your points are noted, but let's not forget that EU politicians and Brussels is not the EU - that would be all the people living WITHIN EU borders. Maaybe the populace will awaken and chase these bloodsuckers away. Anyway, I am glad we have Orban who actually builds up his nation instead of working toward its demise.
@Anthony Simmons He probably reads too much Kremlin propaganda outlets. Majority of people do not want to leave the EU. It's the old communist generation, now mostly pensioners who keep voting for authoritarian style politicians. Those parties now face dwindling voter base.
Great video. The V4 is much more solid because there is so many common threats. However it is possible that the Germans will at least try wedge V4 in this crackline.
Trianon-revisionism is not even on the table, this is an incredibly biased or simply idiotic thought. Revisionists are rare and very much not mainstream in Hungary. People and leaders aim for protective measures and minority rights for all Hungarians in foreign countries, which are statuses strongly supported by EU and other large entities - in theory. In practice, if Ukraine has to show force but is too weak to do so against russian minorities or the Federation, it clamps down on other minorities enclosed in it's borders, e.g forbidding educational facilities from teaching in any other language than ukrainian. Also, V4 doesn't claim it's responsible for all the economic developments in the area since '89, it simply promotes political coordination, trade, cultural exchanges and infrastructure projects. Closeness to other great powers is simply due to a pragmatic POV in economics and, as mentioned as a balancing act.
Of course Trianon revisionism is not on the table, because we were so cut down in force, that from our current position, with a cleptocracy, it would be impossible. Even if we would not be a cleptocracy, it would still be very hard, though atleast we would be efficient
@@sargafekete_7512 you are delluded if you think revisionism will ever make a comeback into hungarian politics. @@balintlakatos7533 The reason why revisionism (or radical nationalism as a whole) has significant traction in so many countries is because they are embarassingly poor in comparison to their Western neighbors. They yell so much about the pride in their homelands because they need to convince themselves there is actually anything worth being proud of. And there typically isn't. If Hungary were comparable in terms of standards of living to the likes of the Netherlands, Hungarians would have cared about Transylvania just as much as the Dutch do about Flanders. Which is zilch. And there would be 100,000-strong gay prides marching down the streets of Budapest, political refugees from the Middle East would be admitted at the Palace of Parliament, and a single attempt by a government-friendly businessman to acquire the biggest newspaper in the country would be met with such a devastating backlash, the party in question would never recover.
You should do a continuation of this analysis, in regards to the Czech election result... As we have got rid of our PM Babis, the new PM Fiala is concentrating on deepening cooperation with our brothers, Slovakia, Germany and Austria, we have cut off all our investments in China and are best friends of Taiwan, planning to open their embassy in Prague, so when there is a discussion of the topic of V4 in the western TVs, then we are often referred to as the V2 + 2... It has to do a lot with the Poles and Hungarian issues with the EU, in terms of breaching EU law, misusing the EUs subsidies from a corrupt government of Hungary, their shift towards China and Russia and overall with the democratic backsliding in these 2 countries... It's interesting how 2 years since we have seen some things stay the exact same and others change completely. Hungary proved itself to be very pro russian since the start of the war in Ukraine... While Poland showed everyone that they were right about Russia and still have very anti EU government ( which is changing as we speak considering the 2023 elections ) Slovakia had returned to their status quo of passive indifference to Russia and with Fico back in power will gradually turn back to what they were as this video was posted. With Czechia having arguably a very big difference between these 2 years. Czechia turned their critique of Russia to complete opposition and turned to one of the most pro Ukraine countries after USA, The Baktics and Poland... Also showing good leadership in their EU presidency. It just shows how the V4 is already past it's expiration date... From 2004 on it's basically useless
This is an over simplified, somewhat incorrect point of view. 1)There is no need to be fanatically anti Russian. 2)The way Brussels treats the V4 is often discusting and humilating while displaying double standards. 3)Poland is pro American. 4)The V4 need each other.
"1)There is no need to be fanatically anti Russian." --- Fanatically? No. But, pragmatically, yes. It is in the interest of Central-European Countries to keep Russia away from the "diplomatic table". Otherwise, we can end up with a situation that happened countless times before, Western Europe and Russia deciding about the fate of Central-Eastern Europe without countries of that region being allowed to take part in the discussion. It is already happening on many levels. Just pay attention to what did Merkel and Marcon said after their proposition of warming the EU-Russia relations failed. Both declared that they don't need approval from the EU to meet with Putin on their own. Your second and third points only reinforce my point. Poland is pro-American because it has no other choice. Brussels/Old EU is open towards cooperation with Russia and doesn't care for "New EU" interests. While the countries of Central-Eastern Europe are always hard to cooperate with and often go against the interests of the region.
Weird how after ww 1 the Ottomans and Habsburg got completely destroyed, think lost honestly more than we Germans but well guess the difference is also that there where no Austrian or Hungarian people living in this regions while a lot of German majority regions where under different governments.

The standards of living have obviously become much better, but at the same time the previous pro-european governments had been massively selling the polish companies into the hands of foreign capital, and the foreign companies pay no taxes to Poland whatsoever.

East Europa, real Europe
That's right.

As a Czech I say ... 🤣🤣🤣
Great point man.

Trying to influence the public by insinuating, no, flatout telling that the current Hungarian government is somehow working towards a revisionistic goal seeking to regain lost territories of the Trianon Treaty is simply utterly untrue!
Greetings from Hungary! Long live all of our independent sovereign member states of the V4 - as they are, and yes, that includes modern Slovakia! (Hungarian governmental and popular revisionism my conservative ethnocentric Magyar arse...)
P.s.: if one wishes to learn more about Central European regionalism and national interests of the V4 members, don't be basic: please learn the languages of theese Countries, and stop relying solely on ten minutes-long english language videos, there is much too many things lost or willfully ommited in translation...

This is an over simplified,
somewhat incorrect point of view. 1)There is no need to be fanatically anti Russian.
2)The way Brussels treats
the V4 is often discusting and humilating while displaying double standards.
Every sane, moral person is by definition anti-Russian.
Sure, no need to oppose russia, we can always just surrender when their troops cross our borders.
Weird how after ww 1 the Ottomans and Habsburg got completely destroyed, think lost honestly more than we Germans but well guess the difference is also that there where no Austrian or Hungarian people living in this regions while a lot of German majority regions where under different governments.
