The amount of control Dimash has over his vocals as well as how well he orchestrates (if that's even the correct word to use haha) his music is absolutely astounding. Although it feels like he sings low in ogni pietra, he actually just used a very dark tone in his voice. I thiiiink he never even went down to the second octave there!

He was trained in classical & contemporary music, and is well known for his exceptional widest vocal range. Sang his music in various languages & in various voices. He is outstanding in his vocal ease technique and mixed voice. He won 2nd place in a Sequel Singing Competition called: I AM A SINGER, in China 2017.
STORY BEHIND THE SONG: This new song “ACROSS ENDLESS DIMENSIONS” by Dimash from the movie soundtrack of 2019’s: "CREATORS: THE PAST ” it was composed, conducted and directed by Piergiuseppe Zaia, an Italian Director, Writer, Producer and Composer. The movie was based on the 2012 Mayan Calendar an upcoming Italian fantasy film written by Piergiuseppe Zaia, and Eleonora Fani. The movie is delayed to view in public due to Covid 19, but it is still a good news because just recently this song had gained Dimash for more than ONE MILLION VIEWS BY NOW - A GIFT FROM THE LISTENING PUBLIC.
How Dimash sang this piece of music, his towering highest notes, the power and beauty of his voice are indeed remarkable. His English pronunciation as well, improved a lot. Listening to this music seems it give us a glimpse of getting into, our life inner journey, which points us into a great mystery of our human life existence and being. The music background creates such an ambiance and mysterious inner depth of the soul’s journey towards its destination.
And in this music, seems Dimash was able to enter into that inner depth of himself in order for him to enunciate and utter the real feelings and emotions by heart, so that naturally he can deliver his music beautifully as in, he was there in a real story that happened. Obviously, until this time, his music circulates so fast and connects to millions of people worldwide, even if he sang his music in foreign languages to the listening public. As I observe it, when Dimash sang and performed his song, he doesn’t just narrate the story plainly but enters into it, which is very unique of him as an artist.
Music is such a mixed up of many and various competing emotions within us, and when artist and audience are sensitive and attentive to it, we can really feel for real, every beat and the dynamics of the song every time the artists performed, which brought such a great effects on those who listen to it.
This Song “ACROSS ENDLESS DIMENSIONS”, is a soul penetrating music which encourages me once again to reflect such a great truth to look into our internal life. Although this song is based on a FANTASY FILM, which means, is only an imagination created in mind by the writer but does not really exists for real. But if you reflect it deeply, it conveys something spiritual and truth in our human life. In fact, on line, some awe inspiring and beautiful comments about this music and the voice of Dimash which says: oh its heavenly, angelic, divine, and majestic etc, all these conveys some spiritual beauty and images that awakens in the hearts of people to those who listens to it.
Even just the Title of this song itself and some few phrases coming from the lyrics, poses a great deal for us to look into, which is very important, most especially the truth of many things particularly in our human existence and being. Here are my comments and personal reflection on this song, to give us an in depth meaning of this piece of music. This is my gift to the listening public, hoping that it might do good and help them in some way. My reflection focuses on:
I. ) The Title of the Song: ACROSS ENDLESS DIMENSIONS in truth and in reality this phrase is only applicable to God alone, why… because He alone is endless, and is never easy to come across going to Him casually, much more His dimensions in whatever aspects is cannot be measured. We don’t know really how God come into existence and in His being, because nobody is above or greater than Him, much more no one created Him, He come into existence in his own power. We cannot also fully understand or measure the depth, and length and height of who God is… especially His power, love, beauty and wisdom, which I believed He has revealed it clearly in the BEAUTY OF HIS CREATION.
In Gods own design and will, indeed our existence in this world is really a gift and a grace beyond human words, out of God’s great love, generosity and goodness lavishly bestowed on us, but sad to say, it is only for a short time, because by nature everything that exists materially here on earth passes away, nothing lasts. But even if this is our human reality, still God is…and is always worthy of all our praise and gratitude.
II. ) As the song progresses, we come across this phrase in the lyrics: THE SOURCE OF MY CREATION. Obviously, this is the truth of our human existence and being that it really came from God. Remember that … our parents do not create us, but are only Gods instruments that we can have a physical body. Yes, materials things like: houses, cars etc…, are human creation, but if God does not give us life and intelligence, still human being cannot do anything. So in the end, we always go back to the source and truth of our existence = TO GOD WHO CREATED US.
III. ) Another phrase in the lyrics: SHOW ME THE WAY TO REACH THE CORE OF MY LIFE it is beyond our human capacity to show the way and to reach the core of our life, no matter how holy the person is. Why …? Because each person is a mystery, unique and different, nobody can fully understand who really we are, that is our sacred space which only God can penetrate. God alone can lead us the way to reach that core of our life because our existence comes from Him who created us and He alone knows us deeply through and through.
IV. ) Finally another phrase in the lyrics is: TAKE ME HOME BACK TO MY SOUL after we come across this life on earth, our soul will go back to His Creator and to its final true home which is in heaven, the fulfillment of everything that we are longing for, and there, we can fully experience true, endless, perfect dimensions of joy and happiness beyond all human telling and expectation, when we will be united with our God more closely.
Why is it necessary and significant for us the realities of this song..? Because when we knew and accept the true roots and beginnings of our human identity that … all things that exist including our talents, skills and intelligence etc … belongs to God, only then that we can fully live our life in joy and in peace. Also, so that in us and in everything, there should not be any boasting, because without God in our life we are nothing and cannot do anything.
In the case of Dimash, his grateful hearts is always thoughtful to God and to people who help him in many ways. In fact and in joy, he really give his best and work very hard for years, in cultivating and developing his many talents and gifts. Through constant practice and perseverance, he was able to reach such an extreme peak and core of his professional field, that at this time many people and even the renown artists worldwide are amazed of it: of its quality, beauty, professionalism and optimum talent development which is beyond our human understanding and expectation.
Many questions are being asked by onlookers … How Dimash do that …? And what is his secret …? Of course he did all the professional things and dedicates himself wholeheartedly to practice and participate in various singing contest which polishes very well his singing career into such a remarkable beauty, power and strength. I do believe that his success is no tricks and magic at all, but rather, it is the fruits of many years of hard work and dedication. More than that, beyond Dimash human capacity, I believed too that he is really gifted by God with grace for music, and in that, we are all amazed on how God’s power works and reveal his wisdom, beauty and goodness thru the works of an artist.
God’s grace and Dimash perseverance and cooperation with it, he was able to face every difficulties and challenges that comes his way, to realize his long time childhood dream to be an artist. Very well … he was able to make it with flying colors, and so my warmest congratulations to him, to his family and to his teachers, who contributed a lot that his dream will become a reality. This is from the movie Creators the Past. He sings as the final credits go up. It was due to be released March but because of the pandemic, it was released a couple of weeks ago. He was due to be at the premier.

BRAZIL - Dimash, the human guitar! This song is very insane due to Dimash's vocals. I loved that Piergiuseppe Zaia managed to direct Dimash's voice to that metallic sound, guitars, it was perfect. I hope Piergiuseppe brings more music in that genre to Dimash. This singer is magnificent. He doesn,t have to push, he just goes. It was not a video it was a theme song for a Sci film movie. They were looking for a vocalist that could hit that note at the end.
If you want to hear distortion, His cover of Show Must Go On by Queen is perfect. It's a rock song, and although he doesn't sing it in a rock type way necessarily, he does distortion at one point of that song. That's the only clip I've seen where he uses heavy distortion, because he doesn't do it to keep his voice healthy. I personally like that decision and I'm not the biggest fan of distortion anyway lol
Distortion can be done in a healthy manner if it's done correctly. The problem is most people try to distort by roughing up the voice in their throat. Done properly, vocal distortion is achieved up in the soft palette and is really akin to a very loud vocal fry. No damage done.

You mentioned growl, and while dimash doesnt do it in a metal way, he does it incredibly. Best video that showcases his growl is Know (Vocalise), aka Ascolta La Voce. Drunken Concubine and Diva Dance also has a growl. That performances has the largest range of any of his songs, 6 octaves, if you know what that means. Diva Dance is a song from The Fifth Element sang by an alien, so you should expect greatness if you've watched it or not. It was written to be impossible to sing. The best version of Diva Dance is from the Bastau concert, but react to both because its a duet. Also from the Bastau concert there is a song I really want to recommend. Daybreak. It's a really emotional and great performance, and it also has a really good belt in it, that gives off a rock/metal vibe to me. Also, you may not have realised this song was one he sang in English. I cant tell if you noticed because you didnt mention it.
Yes, Dimash sings the unsingable notes in Diva Dance. In the movie its sung by the Alien (computer generated voice) since it wasn’t possible for a human voice.

@@dimashtastic Despite the fact Dimash actually sings this a semitone lower than the original, he still manages to sing it better than the original, which is even more impressive for me. He doesnt even technically have to be at the same key, but its still so impressive. I want to see him attempt it at the same key to compare. I'm sure he'll do it just as good. I hope he'll be able to do the F#6 (he has never done an F#6 in a live performance, only studio). I think he should be fine though lol

In Dimash’s case it was even confirmed. A popular Turkish vocal coach, Emre Yücelen, once analysed Dimash and said he must have longer vocal folds than usual.. he, then, once visited Dimash in Kazakhstan and directly asked him if he had longer vocal folds and Dimash said yes.

Phenomenal singer btw. He’s not only about range, his skill level is immensely high, he has such a precise technique, is amazingly versatile (he sings in several different genres and uses styles and techniques of pretty much all genres), and he still does a great job in conveying emotion in his performances. Many vocal pedagogues call him best singer in the world. His range is not his most important feature, but of course it’s a nice plus.

You don't need subtitles, he's singing in English. He's singing from the musical score of the movie "Creators the past" (the trailer is shown here. The movie was supposed to have been released in March, then set back until October the 8th, but again that release date was cancelled due to covid.

.. Dimash has an electric energy performing in a concert environment - he is an uber-performer, totally insane. Try 'Daybreak' from his Bastau concert ( his first solo concert in front of a crowd of 40 000). The song (in Mandarin) is a true story of a cableway accident, where the parents of a 2 year old boy passed him up to safety as their cable car fell. 14 people died, including the parents. The writer of the song adopted the boy (Dimash has also become her godchild since singing this in China in 2017). Take a listen, you won't be sorry!
