Not 100% certain on what I can give feedback on but it would've been nice to have some of the dialog or jokes translated so we could understand what's going on a bit better. I felt like the progression through the middle section of the video was a bit too quick? Like I felt like I was missing a couple of details, like how you mentioned about the map and its paths without showing off some if the different worlds/land scapes. I think pointing out that the game was a bit easy earlier on in the video would've been a nice addition as I wasn't aware the game was easy before expert mode and assumed the game had a fair amount of challenge in the first part. Maybe a bit more time should've been focusing on the spectre fights? Would've been nice to have a bit more knowledge on the mechanics and what not

I didn't know what I was getting into when I started this video, I just always know to click on your new videos when they pop up and get recommended to me. So I jumped onto this one. And I was cautious and wary of it once I realized this wasn't VG Myths. I sort of thought it'd just be a retrospective about a game I couldn't care less about. But INSTEAD, it was a retrospective about a game that you definitely made me actually care about. The concept of this game really lent itself very well towards being a hook. I wouldn't pass up 10 minutes talking about monkey pants. Fact, I won't. And the visuals that the game devs created for the cutscenes were of such a high fidelity, I wanted to know what gameplay was holding them together with that concept. I do see why it's important to explain the name of the game and how it fits into the world, but that did make me begin to believe this would just be facts shown at me, which I wasn't going ot sit through over a game I had NO connection to (which is sort of the point of this series). It helped that I realized this was a sequel to the Ape Escape game you previously played; so it was a VERY good idea for you to put these videos back to back. That sincerely retained me for the whole thing, I was invested. Seriously, this game's ridiculous plot did a lot towards making me watch this video. And mostly because of your sign off talking about the health of this series did I realize this is a new series which I'm going to choose to seek out and enjoy. The sign off is also what prompted me to give you this text brick. I hope it helps you out. If the rest of Region Locked are good, I'll watch them. I even finally gave you a sub today, cause I realized I wasn't. Congrats, best of luck with this really fun project of yours dude. Let me leave your house, peace.

I adore the idea of this show and honestly I'd like to get back to having other content inbetween VG Myths episodes. I mean the TH-cam algorithm is a cruel mistress so I get it if you do what you gotta do. But now that there are so many channels doing #isitpossible videos it feels like there's less of a need for VG Myths and now I'm mostly here because you're charismatic, funny and you seem to really be genuinely enjoying whatever it is you do

I didn't even realize the first video existed until now. Understandable if they're not common, but both are really fascinating and I would love to see more.
Not really a criticism, but more of a hope: the games are little known to the west, but if there's ever some resource to let those of us who don't speak Japanese experience the story, that being included in the video would be fantastic. A translated script, or something along those lines.

I think you're spot on about region freedom being an important series for the channel. If nothing else it's interesting to hear about games that were "too japanese" to release in the west and I don't know that many people are covering the topic. I think the current format is fine as is, as an improvement you could maybe give some tidbits on how the japanese context of the games differs from their western counterparts (censorship, cultural differences, translation changing meaning etc.). 頑張ってねゲームチャムップ3000さん!

Honestly, I found this a bit easier to follow than VGMyths tends to be- I haven't played like, any of the games you've done there, so that decreased my enjoyment of them, but it was assumed that I hadn't played this, so you explained everything you talked about, even briefly.
I definitely had fun watching this, and though there were fewer jokes, I think that the informational tone allowed that- it didn't seem like you wasted much if any words, which I'm a fan of.

Region Freedom sadly is a super interesting concept for a series that just doesn't hit the "Watch someone do what they're not meant to" thing that general audiences flock to.
I mean, DYKGaming's Region Locked also regularly falls 2-5 times lower in views than the more standard and generally applicable "Did you know?" videos.
That said, I would love to see more of this series, and thoroughly enjoyed the previous episode (as well as this one of course).

Can you bear Uncharted without long guns? Basically, only pistols, grenades, and melee allowed. On top of already making combat more difficult, there may be ammo problems, especially twords the end of the game. I personally love the uncharted games and would love to see this challenge attempted.

"Whetever we wanted it or not, we stepted into a war with the cabal" is a genius Name but other than that it was an amazing Video and i cant really give any tips to make IT better because it already was great as it was

God I love the Ape Escape franchise, just fun nonsense, great sense of humor yet nothing annoying or patronizing, and just a wonderfully creative setting and characters. Real talk, if any franchise deserves a revival...
