Been skiing over 40 years...never had the courage to do a 360...watched the Stomp It tutorials and I did my first 360 of my life yesterday. What a feeling! You're never to old to learn a new trick. Thanks Jens!!
I just rolled 33 and was afraid my time is near lol. You're giving me hope!
8:38 shock of my life
n gemp i thought my phone broke
ev0lve lol me too
me too
same :_:
Hahah me too! I got a little heart attack over there.
This video was so good that I watched an entire minute long ad at the end just so you could get a little extra revenue
The Outhouse Studios widow icon
Good work
🐐
it doesn’t go based on how much of the ad you watch it’s just if you watch it at all. As sense gives the same money per person
Can't wait to try it this season just need to find my balls
Shawn Larock waiting fot the winter so i can ski at a resort and than damn 180 is the only thing i can do
Shawn Larock also rails those are nice
Eggaming2 I recommend you guys to build your own jump with a soft landing. Then you’ll feel confident to commit the 360. If you want to grind rails, I suggest to start with PVC rails bc metal is very slippery.
Same here. I can only 180 right now.
djlqk keesey read my comment above. This is how I learned it. Just remember to move your head to where you want to rotate all the way.
Ive been skiing all my life and when I was young I tried 360s but could never do it! Today I just landed my first 360 after trying a few 180s, I landed the 360 first go! Thanks guys!
that's awesome man, im in the same boat
Do you find 180s harder than 360s? Interestingly, for me, it's much easier to do 360s, as I can see my landing properly...
@@wojciechuczaj4564 yeah i learned how to 360 before 180 because i just found it more natural. I did the same when i bmxed.
@@wojciechuczaj4564 it depends on how big the jump is
Best 360 tutorial ever
Agreed.
These seem so helpful! Can't wait to ski in Laax in a few days!
@Mutsis Vittu :DD
Just wanted to pop in and say thanks. Landed my first 360 ever today at age 38 and I've been trying since I was a kid. The biggest thing I was missing was keeping the hands out in front before the takeoff - I was going off a huge Big Air jump at a legit terrain park and the jump naturally sends you into a backflip it's so steep so keeping the hands forward until you're in the air helped me avoid the back seat landing. I went every day this week and must have attempted it 60+ times before landing but your video unlocked it for me!
Boom. Love finding other late 30s park rats in the comments. Props on nailing it!
Did tilt back 10000 times last year, this year finally landed 90 % of my 360
@bbd 5 years later lmao
The bench in the back intimidates me
If anyone is till stuck on the 360, I may have some helpful advice!
-1.) Don't overthink the 3. Chances are your going to have more than enough air to pull it around, so don't worry! Its better to set slower with great technique and get away with a 270 than it is to pull a quick shit one as demonstrated and land backseat, trust me, the habit will stick :(
-2.) Think of it as an over-rotated 180. Sounds foolish but it really emphasizes you to keep your body level, and your head looking straight. This works because you have to land level to the slope (which isn't difficult) to ski away backwards on a 180 without tumbling.
I've been wanting to learn 360s for a while now, and this was really helpful. Thanks!
After lots of trial and error I eventually found that looking at the horizon instead of my skis fixed my accidental corks and backseat landings. No other video I've seen mentions this! Also, making the 360 a quick two step process of 1. pop straight up and 2. start rotating, instead of both at the same time really helped
Also don't forget about your outside arm, that would get left behind my body in my rotations a lot without me noticing
Thanks and keep it up :)
Constantly doing this, so annoying and I think causing me to go off axis and land backseat.
love this, friendly way of explaining, keep it up!
I love your style of teaching, Your vidiographer does a wonderful job.
New, fresh, and clear commentary and beautiful filming angles and quality
Finally a tutorial that actually fully explains how to do a 360
This is probably the best video you've uploaded yet! Great job man.
love your tutorials, they're really helpful!
lol did u hear that click click rip headphone users
xoBlockblasters adventure i was a victm of this action
Love these, great job
Good Video! I liked it how you showed the mistakes.
Your helping me to be a better coach for others.... and a better rider. Thanks a bunch!
Thank you for the tips...time to go practice
Came right on time! Leaving tomorrow :) really stoked on consistently landing my 3's
Just did my 1st 360 in ten years, thx for your input!
I love your lessons. I learnt how to do a 360 30+ years ago and have some bad technique that I need to fix. Thank you for the lesson :) I will land it this year.
Thanks for your vids mate, I love them!
This helped so much, I’ve been sending 360s on Park jumps for the first time (the park jump not the 3) and I always land way backseat and slip out on the landing, this tutorial helped with so many things, keep up the tutorials!
Thanks man, I really appreciate this. I've been trying to must up the courage to do a rotation and this helped alot.
Best ski tutorials on TH-cam. Zero argument.
And I love Laax I been there 3 times I last year I saw you there
really helpful keep the amazing work up
Such a great tutorial. Thank you.
Can u do a video for cork 3?
Yes I can ;)
The video is so clean ! And the explications are really good ! I am going to try that the next week , thx 🔥🔥
Omg have been looking for a video like this for a while thanks!
Great video once again :) I would insist on the fact that putting a lot of shin pressure is key to avoid to land back seated. Not always easy to do, specially on shitty backcountry in runs or steep transitions.
Also, what helped me a lot to get my 360 clean is to look below my armpit instead of above my shoulder. We can see it in the video at 6min20 and the next jump.
Nice extra tips! I'm still a beginner, but i've done a lot of 360's. I think looking below my armpit is good when your doing bigger jumps not with the real small ones, right?
ohh maan! now i'm so hyped to get on my skis and try this :D awesome video!
Love your vids keep it up... love to learn and laugh at the same time!
I've just landed my first 360, could you do next a tutorial on nosebutter triple cork please?
Thank you for this awesome vid
I am learning a lot. Thank you.
Your description is sooo amzing 😍
Awesome vid, really like how you churn through the full spectra. More than enjoyed it, it made me want to go back on skis again rather than my board. Tackar odmjukast.
Dude enjoying ur videos and learning from them could not do any kind of tricks in the park but now I am comfortable with many tricks and u did a big part for me thanks 🙏
I have really been struggling to stomp these 3s but now thanks to this awesome video, i think i will stomp them pretty soon, Thanks!
good for beginners👍
Honestly, this is incredibly useful! I used to manage a 360 but is was always shaky and I landed mainly on one ski. In the recent days I struggled even more with the 360, but I'm sure this will be the tie-breaker and help me to do it right and then with style^^
Thanks so much for this! Love your vids, they are dope for learning things on skis and the vibe is great! Keep up the good work. btw looking forward to visit Laax again - great ski resort for freestyle!
Very good Video
Great vid trying 360 now 😂🤯🎿
bro last year I watched the same video on the mountain and I did my 360 on a large jump its very helpful I'm going to watch it again for this years ski season.
Great video thank you!!!!
I love your vids😍
Thank you :)
Evert Björklund I
@@StompItTutorials should I be able to land 180s first
Awesome vid! I finally know how to cork 3 :)
Hands down the best 360 tutorial anywhere online right now. Anyone trying to learn to 3 for the first time should watch this 10 times before going out and trying, then 10 more times after that, and before long you're tossing 3s in the Japanese Backcountry like Pollard
Haha thank you for the kind words :)
always like your video! Learned a lot from U man!
Love how he doesnt rush the guide, so calming
Learning this to try the flip!
Thanks so much boys super helpful, felt so good to start landing 360s consistently and confidently.
Awesome! Great work and thanks for telling me :) / Jens
Can you do a video on different grabs that would help a lot I have terrain park comps coming up,Btw your videos are so good and helpful it gave me courage to do rails and now I have got different rails. Thanks again the videos are amazing ❤️😩👍🏻💪🏻
watched the video yesterday and did my first 360 today thanks
I'm learning 360, and this helps a lot
thanks so much for this video - because of your advice I was able to stomp my first 360 on only my third try and last run of the day. you’re the shit!!
Great vid!
So happy to have found your videos. I learned through trial and error with lots of bad habits (looking down at takeoff and landing backseat for yeeeeears). Going to use these videos to teach my kids without so many errors. Also, I started learning with left hand mute grabs on left spin 3s which I gather is also harder than grab with right and spin left? Anyway. Thank you!
Best tutorials of the world
😍
That was Really helpfull
Grym video!!
That grüezi was smoooth :D
great Vid 😀
This guy's style of teaching is incredible. Gonna put all his tips to work and become excellent at 360s. Will surprise all my gray-hair friends. :)
Best ski tutorials 👌🏻
Thanks I did it
Thx Bro
so good
Ty you are the best
This is super helpful
Thank you.
Verry god tutorial i watched the video and then at my 3 attempt i naild it perfect and was verry happy
You are the best😎
Thank uuu
THX U2!
I can three and backflip. But the three sixties are quite inconsistent. This tutorial is helping me slow them down and keep them straight on bigger jumps.
Sick
In gymnastics we have a saying you go where your head goes or you look. If you set a front tuck looking down you'll never gain height. It's amazing how much the ~12;bs of the head messes with the axis of rotation for the whole body.
Thanks
That helped me. Thanks
I think that my way of learning this wasn't too great... I weren't even able to do 180°s. I just headed straight to a small park jump, closed my eyes and tried to spin it. After some crashes I managed to land it. Then after an hour of practising I were able to pop it 50% of the time. Now is time to see better way to learn it to teach it to my friends :D
Eh I mean if you basically learned it in an hour you were doing something right. Assuming you didn't get hurt (sounds like you didn't)
When does the competition end? Very helpfull vid bdw👍🏼
nice video
nice vid, nice moustache ^^
Can you show which ski skill you youse on your bindings?your videos are very nice❤
Ayyyy thanks dude i really needed help on this im going skiing this Sunday and i'm gonna stomp it (at least try) and send it in cant wait!
Start small and work your way up :)
I'd like to see more ski training with the trampoline so I can master the tricks in the off-season.
I don’t know why I’m watching g these in the summer
I was practicing 360 in my living room with ski boots on and my neighbors came asking what i was doing. I explained i was practicing 360, and they totally understood :) i love my neighbors.
nice
and i just want so say that Your vidios are very gooooooodddddd
best tutorial ever bro !
you should do freeride skiing videos! :)
