Yes. Since Gambit had been done so dirty by FOX, Gambit fans were looking forward to this show. First he. gets sidelined by groomer Magneto and then this. Even though Gambit had a lot of good moments in this show; you are right. They could have done more with him
13:04 Once more, it's always refreshing to see fans who DON'T know that Cable is Nathan Summers. As an old fan of the comics & 90's show, you couldn't imagine my shock when they did this. The Genosha Massacre is an event still felt in the comics to this day & they did it pretty well. MILLIONS of mutants died in the comics & the loss of so many mutants hurt the future of the X-gene.
Scott saying he loved both Jean and Maddy was probably the right thing since it was the truth and Jean is a telepath and empath. The fact that neither Xavier nor Wolverine knew she was swapped, not to mention that the unique psychic rapport worked between Scott and Maddy is a testament to Sinister’s cloning capabilities. On that topic, now that the cat’s out of the bag, Cable’s name: Nathan C. Summers. Sinister’s name: Nathaniel Essex. 😂 Maddy named him after Sinister without knowing, or more likely, he preprogrammed her to do it. 🎉 Well played Sir.
@@captaintuchy1612 I agree, i'm all about Remy/Rogue. Have always loved their relationship. It's just the mental gymnastics of looking at Magneto and being like "EWWW He so OLD!" in regards to Rogue, but with Logan, who is like Jeans great-great- grandfathers age it's not even an issue? I really don't see the logic.
Eric was used to pierce a representation of his best friend, Charles, in the heart. His enemy used his body to kill his family with the image of his brother.
In the comics, while Magneto lead the Xmen for Xaviar he got "de-aged" by a robot called "Nanny", and though he had white hair, he had the body and looks of a 20-something, and he and Rogue lead a SHIELD strike team against power steeling mutates in the Antarctic Savage Lands where Magneto and Rogue got their sexy on. It wasn't till years later when Xaviar was back and Magneto became leader of the Acolytes on Asteroid-M that Rogue and Gambit started flirting. Before that Gambit and Storm has been much closer, particularly during Storm's punk mohawk days fighting the ShadowKing together. The comics are great source material, and put the movies to shame, but they are quite a bit more "soap-operatic," if ya know what I mean. The Xmen'97 version is much less convoluted, but still tells the most escential parts of the stories:)
Thank you for pointing out how creepy the Magneto/Rogue stuff is. To add insult to injury, the dress she's wearing is the one she wore in the comics for her and Gambit's first date.🤬
never found magneto and rogue gross in my opinion just unnecessary but i never actually thought about the age difference between logan and jean lol personally i think the whole love triangle is stupid and im glad x men comics moved away from it
Did you find the ending of Episode 5 very shocking as well?
Yes. Since Gambit had been done so dirty by FOX, Gambit fans were looking forward to this show.

I cryed for 1 hour in shock
Yes very shocking, the whole episode…..enjoyed your video reaction
Yes
Always makes me cry/get teary
@@lindadesposito3771 I've got a feeling that the writers have an Ace of Spades in the hole for this storyline.
The thing I thought was so amazing, Gambit was protecting Rogue not knowing she had chose him.
“Love is best measured in what we forgive.”
And Magneto protected her knowing she rejected him.

This episode literally made this show a automatic 10/10
“Leech has finally got some happiness…”. Uhhhh….um, yeah 😅

If yall could clarify something
Magneto about 60 + Rogue in her late 20s is gross
but
Jean in her early 30s-ish and Logan who is like 140 isn't gross?
Real life...Bill Belichik 72 with a 24 yr old girlfriend. Life imitating art 😂
Thank you, I love Romy ship and they're officially endgame, but their shippers are so cynical...

Gambit is an omega level mutant he even had his powers nerfed because it scared him.
Gambit actually is an Omega level mutant, but he had his powers nerfed because he was afraid he'd lose control and blow up the planet.
Poor rogue has such a curse. If Eric EVER lets that barrier down by accident, she gets ALL OF HIS PTSD.
Eric was used to pierce a representation of his best friend, Charles, in the heart. His enemy used his body to kill his family with the image of his brother.
Truly wonderful reaction, girls. Top tier content.

What shirt are you wearing? The one that say Black & King.
Uh where's the SOUND 🤔

i love rogue and magneto together
😲
Stopped watching after hearing that Rogueneto is gross but not Logan x Jean when Logan is near double the age of Magneto. Make some sense
