I love how this channel goes from deep philosophical arguments about the meaning of Hell and the afterlife, and then the next upload is Some Airplanes I Used to Know ✈️
Your old browsing deviantart video where you featured Walter Sache’s anthroplanes was a bit of an awakening for me. Nice to see you going back to such a fantastic topic.
I'm glad I'm not the only person who's had specifically the first few lines of "welcome to the underground" stuck in their head like a brain eating amoeba lately
About a year back my mind constantly replayed the rhett and link video where it was the beginning if the nerd rap but he starts singing welcome to the underground
6:49 Didn't expect my Lying policeman to be in this video. That particular work is now exhibited at a reused material gallery. Thanks for the inclusion
Can say that at least for me, I can easily imagine how I'd come up with the thought process of "some airplane that I used to know": 1. Watch cool music video. 2. "Oh shit. I really like how this makes me feel and it has an interesting aesthetic. I wonder how my OC/style would work with this aesthetic." 3. Profit.
My friend is an interior designer and does extremely realistic interior paintings and then draws a hyper realistic anthropomorphic air conditioner into every scene. (usually staring directly at the viewer).
WE NEED MORE views on this channel. Someone notify Solar Sands' main channel audience that he's making hilarious videos on his second channel. Loving this DeviantArt collage series. Creative concept, commentary, and execution.
It's blowing my mind that new fans don't know this, but Browsing Deviantart was Solar's first video series, he started it on his main channel in 2014, and those videos are still funny
First of all, I must say that I am absolute fan of your new "Video essay" style and format, I for one am a sucker for that, but if I had to guess, I´d wonder if a part of what makes these so fun to watch is because your humour and personality show more than in a professional script. It's more "personal" and maybe "relatable". Perhaps they are a bit nostalgic too. They definitely have a special charm to them. At any rate, keep doing what you love man, I'm here for all of it.
The first one looks much better if you unfocus your eyes (or squint if you're one of those), which probably sounds like an insult but I really mean it, it almost looks 3d that way
That video of a guy in Sans makeup cutting to a closeup of his face with no context made me laugh so violently hard the person in the next room over was worried for me.
Oh my God the Sharkplanes. As someone who draws cartoon/anthro planes, I remember stumbling on that account and it was...an interesting experience to say the least
Yeah, some people get to a certain level and say “I’m done”. The problem is they’ll keep making more work and insist that everyone around them take it as seriously as they do.
What is this video? You were on a streak with great video essays. You could’ve toned it down a bit on the seriousness but otherwise they were really good.
I can’t tell if I ironically or unironically like the shark planes but either way I think they’re delightful.
Unironically the airplane art goes kinda hard
Literally
@@Test-md8wutbf it was very phallic
3:31 literally
At 4:11 you either didn't notice the pinup plane shark calendar on the wall or refused to acknowledge its existence.
Glad to know sharkairplane guy is out there carrying the entirety of western culture on his back for us, very cool!
Ah, * *cracks wingtips* * another SolarSands2 video.

"i lost a bit of myself making this" well clearly you just put it into the artwork, its beautiful

You can open links on new tabs by clicking on them with the mousewheel instead of having to open the little menu every time
OMFG how did I never know that!
WTF I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT, WHEN DID THIS BECOME A THING
Also Ctrl+left click usually works too

nobody can say Solar can't make art after that last collage
i think the plane dude and muscular shark dude need to do like a colab
I never imagined the final result would be so beautiful
This man perfectly blends between philosophical genius and casual memester whenever he so chooses
(do not take this seriously)
Im glad you brought this show back
I love how the plane ones start normal but get worse
I love these videos so much. Started watching in middle school and I’m in college now.

mastersharkplane's total lack of artistic improvement for so long is sobering for anyone's artistic journey progress
Yeah, some people get to a certain level and say “I’m done”. The problem is they’ll keep making more work and insist that everyone around them take it as seriously as they do.
To improve, you must try other things. The dude just wants to do plane sharks, man.
What is there to improve when you've already created perfection?
I disagree, he definitely got better at shading and stuff. He definitely improved his art over time.
the flashbacks. Oh Goodness.
Got a commercial with an plane before this video...💀
