Admirable interpretation, very faithful to the composer's sense, executed with a fine, full, rich voice. We definitely need to hear much more of Morgan Higgins! If she were to do a re-take, the one spot where I might suggest the possibility of improvement is the section around 1:35 where Morgan seemed spooked a bit by the disappearance of the left hand of the accompaniment, apparently due to the lack of page-turner. Just a couple of measures there fell short of sustaining the color and power that Morgan brought to the rest of the piece. (I realize that it's not easy to perform Handelian vocal acrobatics, but Morgan has demonstrated here the ability to shine with the best.)
Oh, Had I Jubal's Lyre, or Miriam's tuneful voice. Oh, Had I Jubal's Lyre, or Miriam's tuneful voice. What's the story behind the aria?
Problems of intonation & the approach seems a bit too light. But pleasant.
