As a Romanian I can say FM is very realistic :) All the money in the world can't fight corruption, unprofessionalism, nepotism etc.
Is nobody gonna talk about how well Greek teams were doing? Panathinaikos getting to a UCL final in ~2060 and the Greek league being 5th whilst Romania’s was 7th is wild 😂

This reminds me about my most recent save, where in the second youth intake, Romania randomly spawned about 60 players with above 155 PA, three seasons after I discovered them when I noticed all my scouts came back with A+ ratings and the players all had wonderful hiddens and determination

Yoy have to do a greek edition of this. Panathinaikos have been in a UCL final in 1971 losing to Cruyff's Ajax who then won two more. They have also been to 2 UCL semi finals.
My wife is from Craiova, Romania 🇷🇴. Huge stadium shared by U. Craiova 1948 and Uni. Craiova.... I could see it a block away from her neighborhood.

@@brieefcaase5882 there once was only one powerfull team in Craiova then the team didnt have money and became banckrupt after being demoted to second division . After some years CSU Craiova was formed and started from division 2 , where the old team was disbanded . After some years the old president of the old club ( i think he got out of prision) started FCU Craiova claiming that they are the old Craiova. And a week ago CSU won in court and got the silverware of the old team and now FCU Craiova neds to change name

I am Romanian and I admit that this video except that the favorite at the beginning of the season in the championship, but always manages to finish 2 relegated.Otherwise, I really see super realistic, because the clubs in Romania are admitted AWFUL.ONLY 6 have patrons (if you are confused that the word PATRON was used, in Romania Tood Boehly would be considered Chelsea's patron) the rest of the teams are owned by the municipalities or the municipalities with.
AND I SWEAR IF THIS HAPPENED IN REAL LIFE, CLUBS WOULD WASTE MONEY ON SOME MEDIOCRIES FOREIGN PLAYERS BOUGHT FOR EXAGGERATED AMOUNTS AND THEIR SALARIES ARE TOO HIGH FOR THEIR TRUE VALUE AND AT BEST THE ROMANIAN TEAMS WOULD BE THE LUCK IN THE CONFERENCE LEAGUE GROUPS
FCSB IS THE BEST
You could have just said “owner” to translate “patron” but yeah, we d probably piss away some of the money but even then we would get some nice results by sheer buying power. I mean, teams have made it to EL and Conference League knockouts without the extra money relatively recently (nevermind the humiliations we have also been getting lately) so with it we d probably get in there every season and push for trophies. Especially since that kind of money attracts investors as well so we won’t have to rely on town halls for funding anymore. As for FCSB, if only we could actually win the title at some point bruh, I am tired of waiting…

The club owners have probably resorted to what they usually do, which is taking the money from the clubs and putting it in their own pockets. Some of them are probably in jail because of it.

I've been a long-term Petrolul Ploiesti fan for so long and I still do not understand how the Romanian leagues work ahaha - Must be one of the most confusing leagues out there
It is a shit system built for suspense at all costs but it still isnt as bad as the upcoming European competitions system lol. I have actually gotten the hang of it pretty quickly but it is easier when you see it in action and yeah, it is complicated for no other reason than to force the maximum amount of excitement and matches possible. I will try to explain it again now, hopefully you get it. As he said, after the normal home and away format the top 6 teams go into the playoff, the rest go into the playout, the points get halved. Then the playoff and playout teams play each other again (twice in the playoff, once in the playout), winner of the playoff wins the league and gets the CL qualifying spot and then there are 3 Conference League spots. One goes to the cup winner, another to the 2nd place team, while the last one goes to yet another playoff (thanks federation for introducing this 3 seasons ago…) where the 3rd/4th playoff team (depending on the cup winner) plays the winner of a match between the best two teams in the playout. Then for relegation the last two playout teams relegate directly while a further two play Bundesliga-style two-legged playoffs with the 3rd and 4th team in Liga 2. We aren’t even the only ones that do playoffs, there are sadly loads of leagues around Europe that do this but we did take it to the extreme

@@Andrei33502 bruh, really? Yeah, we have so much help from PSD that a draw against Voluntari (you know, the team funded by Pandele s town hall) ended our title hopes two seasons ago. If we are talking referee-wise we have been disadvantaged if anything in the matches I have seen the past 5 seasons or so. Less so in the last two but even then, look at the away playoff game against Rapid where Onea somehow escaped a red or that missed penalty by Ivan against CSU where they never showed footage that it was a handball. Yeah, I know, Edjouma should have gotten a red too in that Voluntari match but still. Yeah Ciolacu has been supporting us on the Ghencea issue publicly but the only thing he materially did was to give that law that forces state owned companies to publicly state the conditions in which their sporting bases can be rented and apparently promised Becali we will be able to play there but even that failed to get us playing at Ghencea for now. Also, dont forget that we are still playing in Europe, we made the Conference League groups last season. Yeah, the Silkeborg matches were the worst I have ever seen but we still won 3 ties to make it there and I dont see anyone other than CFR doing any better and even they have had huge stumbles so I guess this is just the Romanian clubs level at this point

I havo no clue how FCSB got relegated in the first season. I am from Romania and currently doing a save with them. In the first 10 seasons i won the title every single time and it doesn't look like i am going to stop

@@Cineva7997 Desi am facilitati,junior coaching si tot tacâmul maxat nu am mai avut ceva bun in youth intake-uri de 3,4 sezoane. Presupun ca e momentul sa incerc si eu o tactica mai defensiva pentru a putea trece de granzii europei(desi am unii jucatori care ar face fata cu brio la real,psg sau city)

the best part is to see FCSB relagated...they should be in real life too...almost nothing is legal there,they are not the former Steaua,even the "patron" took the former military team,he didn't bought it,he bought the right to use the name and after some years he stopped and tried everything to make it his own....on the otherhand he bough frf members,he bought the referees,he bought the press,VAR is useless against him,he uses Steaua's coefficient in Europe because of this to take more money,he use press and his filthy cousins agents to sell his poorly trained players,see Man sold for 11 mil euros,he puts only crap coaches,cause the real A1 is himself...he even bought a Hungarian referee to help him qualify in Europe Conference League
