Great seeing Nestor in the videos. Excellent video, as usual!

Turnips are really good in Corned Beef Dinner, with cabbage, onion, carrots, celery, potatoes. You cook the meat first then cook the veggies in water with the meat. Everything absorbs the meat flavor, especially the turnips.

My favourite turnips recipe: peel and cube turnips, a few carrots or parsnips , add sume crushed ginger and a little cumin or aniseed. Fry for a minute in a spoonful of butter, add a little soysauce and a little water, then shut the lid and slowly cook till tender. Add some sourcreme or Creme fraiche. Serve with baked or boiled potatoes. Eat until you burst.

The frog you got to jump into the other pool will drown. It is not possible for the frog to get a setoff to jump up over the steep edges and the frog therefore will die from exhaustion by trying to stay above the surface for breathing! I recommend installing a wooden board or nylon net with steel frame at a 30 degree slope to give the frogs a chance to survive. A large stone setting which allows the frog to get a setoff for a jump out of the pool is also a solution.

I just watch the first few seconds, and was shocked when I heard her say that he was wrong about turnips being related to cabbage. Not only are they related, but they are really the same species. Brassica is one of those veg that has been selected for various traits over thousands of years. Collard Greens for leaves, Cabbage for the big stiff head, brussel sprouts for smaller bite sized heads, broccoli for florets, kholrabi for stems, turnips for big meaty roots, mustard for seed, horse radish for spicy roots. I am sure I even missed something here.

Charcoal colour elasticated marble plaster, will seal this pool, you keep the original look above the water, you can also fibre line and use colour Grey moonshine gel cote, this will give it a pale turquoise colour under the waterline, marble plaster will water seal and keep the aesthetics.
