    I have a 40 gallon and a 140 gallon as well as a 22 gallon. I am in Westeren Washington up to 74 today hottest so far 89 this year. I love them. I have a heavy mesh lid but birds dip my net this year will change next year. I also noticed you seem to have slimmed probably mostly water retention but over all your color has improved and you appear slimmer.

I considered asking to take one home from one of my previous jobs to use for a water reservoir for water changes, but they were used for syrup at that food manufacturing plant and I had no idea if it would ever be 100% free of sugar/additives after cleaning.

    I’ve had my eye on a 300 g Rubbermaid for awhile, but I think I’ll finish my fish garage first... which is after I finish “management’s” projects... so once again... wait’ll next year.
    Do you sell duck weed by the pound? One lucky goldfish could have a huge lunch! Or maybe you could put some on your mulm burgers. High fiber-low fat.

  • @njvikings1
    @njvikings1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Mike Homy D will cut 2x4's cut 2 for length 2 for width. go 12inch more then each tub measurement. put them down where you want the tub. fill inside the 2x4's with sand or gravel. run a 3rd 2x4 over the top of the 2x4's (level 2x4's prior.) the sand or gravel will be level! bingo! place tub and its perfect!

  • @JarleFresh
    @JarleFresh 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey
    In the hole I have in my tubs I use leftover from HMF filter.
    The water runs thru it as an overflow when it rains, no fish lost.

  • @bex567
    @bex567 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey Michael, love watching your videos.
    Question. If it rains do you have to dechlorinate the water after the rain?

    • @MichaelsFishRoom

    • @thomasgrice8864

      No, but do keep in mind it is PH neutral and your guppies will do better in harder water.

    I told you you can't put vinyl pools on grass. When weeds grow they grow through the vinyl. Yet you still don't get it. The instructions say specifically not to do this. Also Rubbermaid containers kill fish. Greg Sage put out a great warning about this years ago.

    I laughed so hard when you coughed and said fine. I do hope you're fine tho :P. By the way - Plants actually absorb ammonia (NH3) directly from the water column and prefer it over trites/trates. So if you have enough plant matter to offset that ammonia there won't be a need to cycle the pond in the first place.
