- Meet Suzy Kwetuenda! She oversees animal welfare at Lola ya Bonobo. A big part of her job is training surrogate mothers on the importance of the mother-child bond in #bonobos. She studied biology and ecology at Kinshasa University. Suzy loves working in conservation, and has a deep desire to make a difference by saving this species.

Thank you Miss.Suzy for educating more people about Bonobos. They need to know they are apart of our closest cousins and how much alike we are. Most people have never even heard of them. You are a beautiful woman with a beautiful heart! The bonobos are so happy you stopped trying to be a human doctor because you're the best at controlling the welfare and caretaking of our bonobo friends. They're such beautiful primates and also have great hearts and love, not just for other bonobos but also for each mum and the other women and staff they have who are some of the sweetest ladies I've ever seen. Maybe that's part of the reason why bonobos have so much love to share with everyone. I so wish I could come help! What a beautiful place you live. This is totally off the subject, but I want Miss.Suzy to know I love her twisted hair with the wooden beads. It's so pretty! Thank you, all the girls, the guys too, what a wonderful job they're ALL doing. It's not an easy job I can see, but a very fulfilling one. If I could I would I love animals they are like children.... I can't have children of my own so my animals are my baby's
