I'm tired of people saying that it's gonna happen this month, it's gonna happen next month, it's gonna happen in February, It's gonna happen in March, it's gonna happen during the summer, it's gonna happen in the holidays like can you guys just calm down Switch 2 will come when Nintendo say it will come. I'm sorry if I'm being rude over this it's just that just let Nintendo think of what month they want to release it next year okay I'm just tired over this I'm sorry
Late January to Early February feels right for an announcement. If it really is coming out in early summer, which is the most rational thing to expect by now, then March is too late. I highly doubt Nintendo will go anywhere near the 2025 holiday season if scalpers really are a concern.
I'd guess a may or June release. A reveal should be in January. The full showcase in March and pre.orders up. I'm soo ready as the leaks - rumors are tiring at times. Lets do this and hype up! It's team 25!😮😮😮
Today my TH-cam recap told me that you were not only the TH-camr I watch the most but apparently I’m part of the top 0.1% of viewers lol keep up the good work 💪
Normally launching in the summer isn't great but if they can't get it out sooner, that's when it will have to be. Keep in mind that inflation has been insane in the last 8 years. $350 in 2017 would be worth $440 ish in 2024. I don't expect it to cost under $400 with $70 games.
My theory is when Nintendo releases the Switch 2 they will also release a new cheap revision for the Switch 1 soon after (just like the new 2DS XL) maybe a Switch Lite that docks?, and they will discontinue the OLED, Switch 2 will take the place of the "higher end" device. That'll leave us with just two options in active production while the older Switch models are sold at a discount to get rid of stock.
450€ would be a lot. Because of this I'm not seeing them slashing the OLED's price, currently at 350€ because it helps make the 450€ price look reasonable. If the OLED went down to 300 450 would feel unjustified. Kinda bummed about the summer release too. I guess it would mean it's coming around my b-day but I was hoping for april.
How many times have we been just a few days/weeks away from a Switch 2 reveal? it will happen when it happens. Until then, everything is at best vague speculation.
Honestly given how alotta people (me included) complained about summer drought when it comes to games back in E3 times and nowadays too at times, its a nice thought that that could be filled with such a massive reveal for once and some launch games to play throughout the summer hopefully
6:54 The Switch OLED doesnt have that space either since the sensor got moved to the top of the console. Plus the Switch OLED doesn't have its speaker placement there anymore so it just gives me a feeling that it's fake.
My only thing about the joycons are this: if they were real, why not get a clearer picture? Also, why not show the entire back of it that has the Nintendo’s name? These two things can easily be explained away but also lends credibility to the fact that the pic is fake or altered. Good job, Andres!
yeah it’s either that they had to sneak in a small shitty camera to get the footage, or it was intentional to hide that’s it’s fake. i’m leaning more towards the second…
I believe the next Nintendo console could probably be revealed around mid to late January to early and/or mid February. As Pokemon would have their Pokemon presents on Pokemon day in late February. So late February would be out of the question. I don’t know about anywhere in March. And an early or late release for the next Nintendo console in 2025. The only new first party games for Nintendo that we know of right now for next year is Pokemon legends z-a and Metroid prime 4 beyond.
May yes. Later than that becomes increasing unlikely. First you're getting into summer holiday spending, when people have their money and time tied up in other activities. (Like say, going to Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Orlando.) Second, if production has already been going for three months and they're getting that late into 2025, they're blowing well past the 6.5 million unit rumor and getting much closer to 10 million by end of July. Is it worth delaying to summer and losing some potential buyers to get another 3 million units at launch? Or is there some major problem at the factories to lead to capacity not being much better than Switch 1 rollout in 2017, despite the capital invested in more factory capacity (from 1.25 million Switches per month in 2017 to 2.4+ in 2021) and more recently in factory upgrades to prepare for Switch 2. Its hard to believe Nintendo, Hosiden, and other manufacturers would spend that much money to expand capacity and not see any benefits from it (and if you're talking July or later, LESS capacity than the Switch 1 pace, which is just about impossible to take seriously.) So either that 6.5 number is way low from Nintendo's goal, or June/July is too late to be approaching that number, or September 2024 was way too early to need to begin mass manufacturing because its needless warehousing costs. Nothing adds up for it to be as late as July and even June looks a little fishy to me.
Again, why are all those leaks blurry!? I am of the mindset that this is all fake, 3D printed stuff, and the blur is to make sure no one can find the parts that show evidence of it being 3D printed!
December is here and it's basically a wrap! Give or take in terms of time either way, We will see the new System shortly - and totally safe in the knowledge it can be Our _only_ console system, reducing clutter! I think the trade-off in Nintendo taking things real 'slow' (read: Strategic) has still more than paid off. As you said Andres, onwards to the Home Run for all of Us! 🥳
Not working for one on launch, but they copy and pasted so much of botw over to totk that I think they have been working on the next 3D Zelda while totk was maybe a year out from release.
So the Switch 2 accessories we got a case to put your Switch 2 in and a screen protector so then your Switch 2 won't get damaged or destroyed I mean it's cool I guess but yeah I think some of this is fake. Also yeah I'm tired of people saying that it's gonna happen this month, it's gonna happen next month, it's gonna happen in February, It's gonna happen in March, it's gonna happen during the summer, it's gonna happen in the holidays like can you guys just calm down Switch 2 will come when Nintendo say it will come. because hopefully we can get a game on February like maybe Kirby since this year all we got for Kirby was him on a Music App and just new merch for him and he's now teaming up with Ketchup but maybe they can like reveal like both remakes of both the two 3DS Kirby games of Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby Planet Robobot and also maybe they can finally show Tomodachi Life in it as well but I hope Nintendo can do it before we move on to Switch 2. But again we'll see what Nintendo has in store for us this month and next year.
I think it's unlikely Nintendo will drop the switch price now as I think it benefits them to have the value comparison. Just like you said in your video, 450 doesn't sound too bad because you'd expect a next gen device to cost more than a switch OLED. If they drop the price and create a bigger divide it's more work for them to justify its value.
Not gonna get Switch 2 unless if the hardware is insanely good. Plus Nintendo suppressing creativity, bullying their customers, and other game developers doesn't make me exactly burn with a passion for their products...
With how Nintendo is not revealing anything, i feel this is typical Nintendo. It feels like they always screw up and "over-strategize"...especially after a successful system. I dont know if theybstart getting too greedy, which makes me think they wont do a price drop (which they should have done with the holidays). It makes me worry they'll overprice $450+ when they should be stay aggressive ($399) although the tarriffs might equally affect the price. They might even charge $70 for all switch 2 games. Ive just been in this situation too many times and nintendo has always let me down. (Still pissed about the snes cd becoming the sony playstation). 😭
It'd be insane if they did a March launch, but now that I think of it, if they want the reveal to launch gap to be a similar length of time to the Switch 1's reveal to launch gap, a late spring launch at the earliest would make the most sense. At least then you'd have time to spread the word and get people talking before you go full steam ahead with marketing closer to launch.
If a presentation is happening around the same time as OG Switch(Jan - Feb), then when else can they give us a teaser besides this month? TGA is sounding more and more likely for a Switch 2 teaser...
I don’t understand why everyone keeps believing these leaks and rumors, somehow just because it’s Chinese that makes it more believable? The country known for fake and bootleg merchandise and somehow people believe this is real?
All of the “leaks” we have seen so far from the last 2 months are all similar and don’t contradict each other. It’s very clear now what the switch 2 will look like.
@JAHistheOne Well obviously, if you’re going to fake a leak wouldn’t you go with the most popular leak around at the time? The CAD files have been around anyone can 3D print them. So why are people believing them?
@@JAHistheONE Well obviously, if you’re going to fake a leak wouldn’t you go with the most popular leak around at the time? @@MarioSonicBee I’m not OP of the thread, but I think that’s what they are getting at. The footage was made blurry on purpose so people dont see its a 3d printed mockup
other possibl reasons is finger print, or watermark fear
I wonder how the Switch 2 commercials will look like , A nice bus , or a special room that changes when you pick up the Switch 2 ?

Honestly given how alotta people (me included) complained about summer drought when it comes to games back in E3 times and nowadays too at times, its a nice thought that that could be filled with such a massive reveal for once and some launch games to play throughout the summer hopefully
After nothing was revealed in Sep/Oct, a March release didn't make sense to me. A late spring launch seems more likely.

Perhaps what we feel is the 'Eject' button is actually a Z trigger/button for when the Joycons are used as seperate controllers?
