One of my favorite kitchen organizers is a pioneer woman ceramic utensil holder. It is decorated with beautiful flowers in bright colors . I can find my bigger utensils easier now.

Hi Jodi. I hang my measuring cups on the inside of the cabinet doors with clear Command hooks. I also do that for other items throughout the house. Instead of feeling bad for throwing out your girls artwork, take a picture of it and then throw it away. 😊
My favorite organizer is my battery organizer. They use to be in different drawers and cabinets. You did not know if they were good or dead. Now they are all in one spot and no dead batteries ;)
You have so much kid stuff! So many scissors and markers! You should have your children chose what they want to keep and donate because they have too much stuff! What you are doing is amazing and I'm happy you're happy doing it ❤️

I find it easier to declutter before I put the items away. After taking it all out, like you did, I put all of the like things together & see what I have dupes of, what I don't use etc. Truly makes a difference when you see it all out there....I swear some of my closets & drawers were like clown cars or Mary Poppins bag - the amount of stuff inside was never ending! Lol! Great job - You go girl!! ♥
Love how you said "people live here!!" I mist remind myslef of that too. I dont have a magazine home. I have a lived in home 🏠:) We have a pen,pencil,marker/notepad/rubberband/paperclip, tape measure drawer. We keep the baggies and foil under the sink in a rack and file holder. Thanks for the declutter video. Love it!!
What a great declutter! Such motivation. Started watching you with your dining room declutter! One suggestion, what about putting a command hook on the inside cupboard next to the oven to hang your oven mitts then use that drawer for cooking utensils and free up the first drawer more. Candy drawer is an amazing idea!! If I had more than 4 drawers in my kitchen id do it. I'd be happy seeing you declutter either of them! My favourite decluttering tools are just small boxes to help contain

My favourite item is a zip lock bag. I separated all my computer, phone charge, tv, stereo, DVD player, CD player, Xbox etc cables in zipped bags and store them in pretty hat boxes in the lounge room. No more tangled spare cables!!

I’d love to see the pantry declutter, and my favorite organizational thing right now is Caboodles! I started getting into SFX makeup this year so I needed one for all my makeup & SFX supplies. Then there’s one for my nail Polish & nail tools. And then one for some stationery and greeting cards. My latest declutter was getting rid of large electronics like the old school TV’s with fat backs, three printers, and more. I live in NYC with no car so I finally had someone help me haul everything in their car to the electronics recycling disposal place. It has been a HUGE relief off my shoulders since! When I got my pup’s remains, I still had so much craft clutter from a Halloween bulletin board I was working on in a community center, and from my pup’s funeral, I had just put his box of remains with my craft supplies 😱. I didn’t mean to lol. The weeks went by and my mom had to take him out of my stuff. Eventually we put something together for him in the living room
Hi Jodi! Yes I use the drawer dividers and I highly recommend them. I had organizers from dollar tree and I felt they kinda wasted space. I like the drawer dividers much better.Also I think the kitchen drawers is the easiest place to start in your kitchen. You can even just do one drawer a day.💜 Maybe put your seasoning packets in your spice cabinet though? Maybe put dish towels in that empty drawer by the stove? 💜
I know this video is several months old but I really like your cabnits. They are a really nice wood. If it were my kitchen I would keep the cabinets and replace the knobs/handles, countertops and backslash.
I think everyone has that one junk drawer that is the catch all for everything. I love picking up the storage bins from the dollar tree. I used them to organizing my closet shelves.
I would move your spice packets to the pantry cabinets. You can find clear containers at the Dollar Tree for that. or the kind that can attach to the cabinet doors. Nice job on the rest of the organizing!

I love the wire baskets that slide under the shelves. It adds so much space in the cabinets. I was getting so inspired by your videos and then I fell and broke 5 bones in my foot. I have to stay off of it for at least 3 weeks. I was thinking that while I was off my feet I could start making my a list of what I wanted to do when I get well. My favorite organizing gadget, is a give away box. I get VERY excited about organizing and purchase things to organize and set up a space and THEN I declutter it! SO silly! So I end up with a solution for storing 40 pairs of shoes, and only keep 15! But other than putting the cart before the horse, I'd have to say a label maker. I don't like clear bins because I think they still look messy. So solid color bins, and a label for me!

My daughter and I like to go thrift shopping and we look for beautiful baskets 🧺 and we use them in every room to organize our books, our fabrics, homeschool supplies, and even our bread in the kitchen 🧺💕😄
Now that you've decluttered and know what you have, you might think about storing items closest to where you use them AND how often they are used. You want your most often used items stored between head and hip height. Eg: you only use the pumpkin carving tools once a year, yet they're in a top drawer. Move them to a bottom drawer, or top shelf. Your candy drawer looks beautiful, but it's taking up prime real estate in a top drawer. I would move the candy to the pantry or a lower drawer, and put some of your utensils from the drawer by the stove there, or maybe from the junk drawer -- bc both those drawers are still rather crammed full, and will tend to get disorganized easily. Store things based on how often they're used, and where they're used, and give them room to breathe (in their drawer dividers), and your drawers will be more functional and remain beautiful! I also heard a good tip years ago: make things easy to put away. If they're hard to put away, or complicated, people will avoid doing it, and things will get left out.
The little drawers by the stove that are deep and narrow you could put things like the potato masher and other items you don’t use as often. That way the main drawer is a bit emptier and you can easily see everything in it.

My favorite organization "gadget" is any clear acrylic bin. I like bins because it makes it easy to pull out and things don't get lost in the back of the cabinet. Those deep skinny drawers could be used to hold kitchen towels or cleaning clothes folded Kon Marie (verticle filing) style.

I have been buying so many containers of various sizes to store snacks in my pantry. I recommend Tj max or Marshals to purchase them they are nice and affordable 😊
I have those same 3 skinny drawers by my stove too Jodi. I put my pot holders in the top drawer like you did, the second is my dish towels and the bottom is trivets/hot plates. 👍
My favorite “gadget” is my expandable silverware holder. I love it, holds all my basic silverware and I can put small things like measuring spoons in the middle. I think next week it would be better to do the pantry, will help you to decide what you already have or need to buy.

I use an assortment of boxes for my drawer organisers I do cover them with wallpaper or gift paper to make them look pretty.

I use my deep, narrow drawer for grilling utensils. We only have a couple, so it works out well.

My daughter and I like to go thrift shopping and we look for beautiful baskets 🧺 and we use them in every room to organize our books, our fabrics, homeschool supplies, and even our bread in the kitchen 🧺💕😄
Now that you've decluttered and know what you have, you might think about storing items closest to where you use them AND how often they are used. You want your most often used items stored between head and hip height. Eg: you only use the pumpkin carving tools once a year, yet they're in a top drawer. Move them to a bottom drawer, or top shelf. Your candy drawer looks beautiful, but it's taking up prime real estate in a top drawer. I would move the candy to the pantry or a lower drawer, and put some of your utensils from the drawer by the stove there, or maybe from the junk drawer -- bc both those drawers are still rather crammed full, and will tend to get disorganized easily. Store things based on how often they're used, and where they're used, and give them room to breathe (in their drawer dividers), and your drawers will be more functional and remain beautiful!
I also heard a good tip years ago: make things easy to put away. If they're hard to put away, or complicated, people will avoid doing it, and things will get left out.
The little drawers by the stove that are deep and narrow you could put things like the potato masher and other items you don’t use as often. That way the main drawer is a bit emptier and you can easily see everything in it.
Right now my favorite organizers are rolling storage racks for my basement storage room!

My favorite organization "gadget" is any clear acrylic bin. I like bins because it makes it easy to pull out and things don't get lost in the back of the cabinet. Those deep skinny drawers could be used to hold kitchen towels or cleaning clothes folded Kon Marie (verticle filing) style.

I have been buying so many containers of various sizes to store snacks in my pantry. I recommend Tj max or Marshals to purchase them they are nice and affordable 😊
I have those same 3 skinny drawers by my stove too Jodi. I put my pot holders in the top drawer like you did, the second is my dish towels and the bottom is trivets/hot plates. 👍

You could buy a consortia folder for your couponing and organise different sections. It would keep it all together and ready to use

My favorite “gadget” is my expandable silverware holder. I love it, holds all my basic silverware and I can put small things like measuring spoons in the middle. I think next week it would be better to do the pantry, will help you to decide what you already have or need to buy.
