The third song to Suga Amygdala pronounced “ah-MIG-dah-la". "The amygdala is the part of the brain that's most closely associated with fear, emotions, and motivation. Its name means “almond” because it is almond-shaped. If you see something that frightens you, your amygdala might tell your body to panic." Suga had worked as a delivery drive on a motorbike while still as a trainee, even when it wasn't aloud. He got into an accident that hurt his shoulder. It didn't tell anyone because he was afraid he would be cut from the group. He went on for years in pain. He finally got sugary done on it in 2020. Wasn't anything do to with drugs.

Euphoria is from the BU (bts universe) it’s a story line that travels through bts’ mvs it’s a very complicated storyline but once you understand everything it’s easy to put together. Lie by Jimin is also part of the BU!

I'm not gonna explain Amygdala because I'm guessing people have already done that, but I will say at his last concert before he enlisted, he had a white door on stage. He left through it at the end smiling and waving. He was letting us know that he made it out of being trapped in his head. Also, this is hard to believe, but Yoongi actually had the nerve to say that he's not handsome enough to act. He must be insane because hello! Yoongi, you are GORGEOUS!! Also, Yoongi has such a beautiful singing voice. I implore you to listen to his solo song in BTS called Seesaw.

Because I have PTSD from so many early deaths in my family, Amygdala is my favorite korean song. I couldn't stop crying when I first watched the video which was huge because I had been going to therapy for being emotionally blocked and not able to face my pain. I identify 100% with the emotion in that song.

@shalayaB Thanks. Music can be therapeutic and healing for so many. The messages that BTS convey in their lyrics have been so influential for so many and are a big part of the reason their fandom is so huge and very loyal. One of the other things that is so contagious is their joy and love that shines when they are around each other. Everyone witnessing it, even through a screen, receives a boost of happiness and often we laugh heartily right along with them. They just spread happiness. I would wish for everyone to have at least one family member or friend who brings joy into their life as much as these boys do. They are so genuine, kind and caring with one another while at the same time being just insanely goody people 💗.

The pills in the Amygdala MV aren't drugs - he's been very open about suffering of depression and anxiety, so it's likely a reference to that type of medication, and seeing as he mentions the accident he had pre-debut, we can also think about him having to take painkillers to get through the years of heavy choreographies. He got surgery fairly recently, the pain he must've been in was likely acute and persistent. Also, he talks about both parents' health issues, which come with taking lots of pills as well.
You have to watch Lie live. It's truly an experience. A masterpiece. Jimin's dancing and the emotion he puts in it. Is just wow. And yes Jimin enchants you. It's hard being a Jimin bias cuz it's too much sometimes lol
re: Agust D killing the other self in the first 2 music videos: think about it as Agust D killing the part of himself that is too greedy and thus let itself be corrupted. Blonde Agust D came from nothing and then became king but, letting himself be corrupted by power, he became cruel. The commoner version of himself keeps that Agust D in check by killing him. (NOTE: Blonde Agust D in Daechwita is actually connected to Agust D's debut - there Suga had blonde hair as well and he rapped about his struggles, achievements, hopelessness... a lot of heavy stuff. But there's the concept of rising from struggle, which is behind the figure of the king in Daechwita) Same with Haegum: you have a cop chasing a criminal, so it seems obvious who is in the right, but then it's revealved that the cop is corrupt. The one that's supposed to be the criminal is actually the one who keeps the corrupt cop side in check by killing him when he's out of control. In Amygdala the dichotomy is different, as it represents the vulnerable side of the self, the one hurt begging for help from the one who isn't hurt yet.

jhopes music is so criminally underrated my personal fav is on the street. jhopes diversity is crazy. you should listen to more of jimin, that man can literally do every genre (be mine, like crazy, serendipity). lots of people have already explained the trilogy already but yeah haegeum is my fav. btw, agust d is the only listed credit on the ENTIRE song. jungkooks solo music is so comforting for some reason, my personal fav from him is too sad to dance from namjoon i really recommend wildflower. from jin i recommend the astronaut (although he has an album coming in november!), taehyung i would recommend love me again :)
A lot of Suga's music is raw and hard hitting and sometimes almost agressive, but he himself is such a gentle person. He's the type that stays silent and acts like he doesn't care, but he would do anything for people. I feel like out of all the members he has a very real understanding of ARMY, because he used to be part of a fandom himself in the past. He knows how we work and he often humors us when we ask something of him. He also feels things deeply and the other members have mentioned before that because of that, he can really hold a grudge. Like, something small that he doesn't mention and everybody forgets about and he brings it up years later. Although lately, I think he learned to let things go a lot more and be a peace with himself and the world. I just hope it stays that way. I'm sure other people talked about the electric scooter nonesense and what the journalists and the police put him through for no reason. He knows he has people who will fight for him tooth and nail and I hope he can get through this all as well. I hope when we see him in 2025, he'll be happy and the journalists will be rotting in jail.

it all depends on the song, sometimes members produce, write lyrics and/or compose but not always, for example suga is the only person in credits for haegeum but jungkook did not participate in making of somebody, at the same time jungkook produced and wrote lyrics for still with you, probably composed too
Thank you for this video 🥹. It's a very needed positive distraction after every negative thing that went down in ARMY spaces for the past few weeks or even months. I cant help but feel pain in my chest reading all the discussions in these comments about how Yoongi had been in a much better place after the Agust D trilogy concluded and him going through 'the door' and closing it behind him in his very last DDAY concert with a beautiful smile in his face, only for August 2024 to happen. People to this day have been bullying and sending him death threats through funeral wreaths over a very minor mistake. No one ever deserves this to happen to them but if we look back at every thing he has gone through along his mental struggles, it's just heartbreaking. I wish more people like you outside of the fandom will know his story and + the FULL context of what really happened in his scooter case. I'm sorry for kind of ruining the vibe by bringing up something so depressing but I just cant get over how other than ARMY, there is very little to no empathy for him in the general kpop community and a lot are even celebrating what happened and wish him to leave BTS or even do worse like unaliving himself.

Also for the production they all write their songs, like all seven of them, but yoongi, Namjoon and hobi are also into the production side as well especially yoongi as he is a producer for other artists as a side hustle lol. But Jimin has been getting more involved in production recently which is nice to see. They all have interest in producing and even if they receive the songs they are still very hands-on with what they want on their album and their concepts. So yeah full control most of the time.

(context - idk if anyone has explained this about their discog, but they all have solo songs on BTS albums starting with the 2016 album Wings, which are B-sides! Sometimes they'll do an MV for some of those songs, depending on the message and story of that album) - Lie and Mama were both from the 2016 album Wings, and they did these little almost teasers of the solo songs with content related to the Bangtan Universe (which is a WHOLE other thing, but basically they have MVs that are part of a connected storyline called the Bangtan Universe or BU) but not full MVs! - Stop was a B-side off of Hobi's (pronounce hoh-bee btw, like hope but hobi instead to make it a cute nickname lol) album Jack in the Box -The Euphoria video you watched was also BU content, I highly recommend checking out a live performance of that song to get the full experience!!! -Still with you is kind of unique in this regard, Jungkook wrote that one as a gift for army during Festa (A celebration of the anniversary of BTS' debut every June), and it was initially only released on Soundcloud! Before officially starting solo projects, the members would actually release solo and sometimes unit projects (both original songs and covers!) on their Soundcloud, and they're technically considered unofficial releases because they weren't making any money off them or promoting them really, they're just gifts for army! I love all 7 solos but those four music just speaks to me on a deeper level. But Arson is one of my fav Jhope songs. And Euphoria is one of my top fav BTS songs it's sooo good. All Jimin's songs gonna hit for me. Only one song I don't like by him. And Amygdala just hits soooooo hard. This song is on repeat. I think it’s a mixture of his voice, dancing, his VISUALS, and all the songs were so catchy!! I do love R&B music too, so some of his songs were giving an R&B vibe!!💜 I LOVED Suga’s songs in this video too and listen to those songs a LOT as well!!

But they are all kind, intelligent, talented and funny in a different way from the other but still got all qualities just like the others I relate to all of them equally so I just can't pick a Bias ... Yeah as already mentioned, yoongi wasnt drugging. And if he was he certainly wouldnt say it, drugs is a huge taboo in Korea, very very illegal. His career would be done. It was simply his car accident in trainee days. Maybe the pills is supposed to be pain meds. In 2020 before his surgery he had to take injections in his shoulder for the pain after pretty much all concerts
So, Euphoria. There is a full version of this song on an album. This video is part of a much larger and much more complex storyline called the BU or Bangtan Universe. There are "notes" included in an album series, published books of "notes" as well as a webtoon and numerous other MVs and videos that follow this story. It is overwhelming and a LOT to cover and understand. Don't worry about getting it figured out if you don't want to. Many new, or even veteran ARMY aren't even aware it's even a thing. Just know, if there's something in a BTS video or content that seems weird, or you don't get...it's probably BU content. Check the videos description and scroll down, it'll mention BU. 💜💜💜

I’ve been a fan since 2013 and V was my bias from the start, so these two (especially Sigma live and just all of singularity…) was a spiritual experience for me!

Suga had worked as a delivery drive on a motorbike while still as a trainee, even when it wasn't aloud. He got into an accident that hurt his shoulder. It didn't tell anyone because he was afraid he would be cut from the group. He went on for years in pain. He finally got sugary done on it in 2020. Wasn't anything do to with drugs.

He left through it at the end smiling and waving. He was letting us know that he made it out of being trapped in his head. Because I have PTSD from so many early deaths in my family, Amygdala is my favorite korean song. I couldn't stop crying when I first watched the video which was huge because I had been going to therapy for being emotionally blocked and not able to face my pain. I identify 100% with the emotion in that song.

@shalayaB Thanks. Music can be therapeutic and healing for so many. The messages that BTS convey in their lyrics have been so influential for so many and are a big part of the reason their fandom is so huge and very loyal. One of the other things that is so contagious is their joy and love that shines when they are around each other. Everyone witnessing it, even through a screen, receives a boost of happiness and often we laugh heartily right along with them. They just spread happiness. I would wish for everyone to have at least one family member or friend who brings joy into their life as much as these boys do. They are so genuine, kind and caring with one another while at the same time being just insanely goody people 💗.

The pills in the Amygdala MV aren't drugs - he's been very open about suffering of depression and anxiety, so it's likely a reference to that type of medication, and seeing as he mentions the accident he had pre-debut, we can also think about him having to take painkillers to get through the years of heavy choreographies. He got surgery fairly recently, the pain he must've been in was likely acute and persistent. Also, he talks about both parents' health issues, which come with taking lots of pills as well.

re: Agust D killing the other self in the first 2 music videos: think about it as Agust D killing the part of himself that is too greedy and thus let itself be corrupted. Blonde Agust D came from nothing and then became king but, letting himself be corrupted by power, he became cruel. The commoner version of himself keeps that Agust D in check by killing him. (NOTE: Blonde Agust D in Daechwita is actually connected to Agust D's debut - there Suga had blonde hair as well and he rapped about his struggles, achievements, hopelessness... a lot of heavy stuff. But there's the concept of rising from struggle, which is behind the figure of the king in Daechwita)
Same with Haegum: you have a cop chasing a criminal, so it seems obvious who is in the right, but then it's revealved that the cop is corrupt. The one that's supposed to be the criminal is actually the one who keeps the corrupt cop side in check by killing him when he's out of control.
In Amygdala the dichotomy is different, as it represents the vulnerable side of the self, the one hurt begging for help from the one who isn't hurt yet.

A lot of Suga's music is raw and hard hitting and sometimes almost agressive, but he himself is such a gentle person. He's the type that stays silent and acts like he doesn't care, but he would do anything for people. I feel like out of all the members he has a very real understanding of ARMY, because he used to be part of a fandom himself in the past. He knows how we work and he often humors us when we ask something of him.
He also feels things deeply and the other members have mentioned before that because of that, he can really hold a grudge. Like, something small that he doesn't mention and everybody forgets about and he brings it up years later. Although lately, I think he learned to let things go a lot more and be a peace with himself and the world. I just hope it stays that way. I'm sure other people talked about the electric scooter nonesense and what the journalists and the police put him through for no reason. He knows he has people who will fight for him tooth and nail and I hope he can get through this all as well. I hope when we see him in 2025, he'll be happy and the journalists will be rotting in jail.

Generally speaking each BTS album has 2 official music videos (MV)- the title track and then a follow up single. Euphoria is a BTS song but sung only by Jung Kook. BTS early on understood the importance of giving each of the 7 the opportunity to develop individually so from around 2016 onwards BTS albums often contained 7 solo songs. These often became the intro or trailer tracks and got their own MV. So the Euphoria video you watched falls into the intro / trailer category.
Still With You is a free song Jung Kook gifted to ARMY on the BTS debut anniversary. BTS members have gifted ARMY dozens of songs, maybe even close to 100 when you take into consideration all the covers they upload to Soundcloud. Jung Kook has produced songs like Still With You. Thank you for this video 🥹. It's a very needed positive distraction after every negative thing that went down in ARMY spaces for the past few weeks or even months. I cant help but feel pain in my chest reading all the discussions in these comments about how Yoongi had been in a much better place after the Agust D trilogy concluded and him going through 'the door' and closing it behind him in his very last DDAY concert with a beautiful smile in his face, only for August 2024 to happen. People to this day have been bullying and sending him death threats through funeral wreaths over a very minor mistake. No one ever deserves this to happen to them but if we look back at every thing he has gone through along his mental struggles, it's just heartbreaking. I wish more people like you outside of the fandom will know his story and + the FULL context of what really happened in his scooter case. I'm sorry for kind of ruining the vibe by bringing up something so depressing but I just cant get over how other than ARMY, there is very little to no empathy for him in the general kpop community and a lot are even celebrating what happened and wish him to leave BTS or even do worse like unaliving himself.

I know you were wondering why some of these didnt have MVs, and I'm just gonna make a list of the ones that didn't have MVs and why they didn't! (context - idk if anyone has explained this about their discog, but they all have solo songs on BTS albums starting with the 2016 album Wings, which are B-sides! Sometimes they'll do an MV for some of those songs, depending on the message and story of that album)
- Lie and Mama were both from the 2016 album Wings, and they did these little almost teasers of the solo songs with content related to the Bangtan Universe (which is a WHOLE other thing, but basically they have MVs that are part of a connected storyline called the Bangtan Universe or BU) but not full MVs!
- Stop was a B-side off of Hobi's (pronounce hoh-bee btw, like hope but hobi instead to make it a cute nickname lol) album Jack in the Box
-The Euphoria video you watched was also BU content, I highly recommend checking out a live performance of that song to get the full experience!!!
-Still with you is kind of unique in this regard, Jungkook wrote that one as a gift for army during Festa (A celebration of the anniversary of BTS' debut every June), and it was initially only released on Soundcloud! Before officially starting solo projects, the members would actually release solo and sometimes unit projects (both original songs and covers!) on their Soundcloud, and they're technically considered unofficial releases because they weren't making any money off them or promoting them really, they're just gifts for army! @@abrarbenhariz2524 Omg SAME tbh! I was surprised too because I usually prefer rap songs a lot more, and my bias’s are usually only rappers, but Jimin is something special!! I think it’s a mixture of his voice, dancing, his VISUALS, and all the songs were so catchy!! I do love R&B music too, so some of his songs were giving an R&B vibe!!💜 I LOVED Suga’s songs in this video too and listen to those songs a LOT as well!!

Yeah as already mentioned, yoongi wasnt drugging. And if he was he certainly wouldnt say it, drugs is a huge taboo in Korea, very very illegal. His career would be done. It was simply his car accident in trainee days. Maybe the pills is supposed to be pain meds. In 2020 before his surgery he had to take injections in his shoulder for the pain after pretty much all concerts
So, Euphoria. There is a full version of this song on an album. This video is part of a much larger and much more complex storyline called the BU or Bangtan Universe. There are "notes" included in an album series, published books of "notes" as well as a webtoon and numerous other MVs and videos that follow this story. It is overwhelming and a LOT to cover and understand. Don't worry about getting it figured out if you don't want to. Many new, or even veteran ARMY aren't even aware it's even a thing. Just know, if there's something in a BTS video or content that seems weird, or you don't get...it's probably BU content. Check the videos description and scroll down, it'll mention BU.

I know I probably should talk about the videos you watched, but I don’t think I can add anything that’s hasn’t been said already. So I’ll just recommend V’s Sigma and Singularity. I’ve been a fan since 2013 and V was my bias from the start, so these two (especially Sigma live and just all of singularity…) was a spiritual experience for me!
