    For me with the turbo boost off it is much better because the CPU temperature drops a lot and we have the same performance if it drops 1 or 2 fps it makes no difference

      Wait thats the only difference turbo boost makes?

    Amazing Temps just want to know why don't you undervolt your cpu?
    And what is this 40watt nd 32watt turbo Power boost?

      Tech Hub thanx:) i can either undervolt or lower the value on turbo boost power for reducing the temperatures...
      i did those two methods and prefer the turbo boost method, many others prefer the undervolting...
      The 45w short & 32.5w long is the watts(power) that cpu getting,
      the cpu gets up to 32.5w constantly (thats why its long) and only if the cpu needs some more power so its getting more power from the 45w turbo boost short power, thats why his name short:) i hope I explained it ok....

      @@salfred5928 Buddy going to buy this Laptop soon in ur videos temps seems to be fine just wanted to know after disabling the turbo boost can i get temps under 80deg??
      i am going to purchase 1660ti,i5 vareint

      Tech Hub ok good luck with your purchase:)
      yes just as you see at this video!(depending on specification?cuz you wrote i5 and so on)
      ***in GTA 5 i was not able to disable the turbo boost power no matter which value i put on (1-100) it always gave me full cpu clock...dont know why...in the rest of games i tried it worked...
      but with intel XTU soft you can set the turbo boost power for GTA game and the temps will be around 80degrees (on 45w&32.5w in my laptop)

    Try with dx12 and ffr on

      Arpit Rajput sorry but didn’t understand dx12 / ffr? :(:(

      @@salfred5928 in settings change from Direct X 11 to Direct X 12 and turn Future Frame Rendering "ON". This solved my low GPU usage. Do try multiplayer and let me know about fps and usage if possible :)

      Arpit Rajput ok! thanx for explaining,
      i will do as you said and will comment here the results-fps,cpu usage:)

      Arpit Rajput hi:) you were right!!:)
      The GPU usage increased to 97% :)
      The FPS increased to 59-60 :)
      When changed to DX12 and put on FFR:) thanx for advice:)

    Why is gpu usage only 74%

    • @salfred5928
      @salfred5928  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Arpit Rajput dont really know:), guessing thats what the game requires?
      on same performance options(highest), other games like GTA5 getting 95/97% usage,
      I checked my previous videos on this game and its always around 75-80% on battlefield

      Emadeddin 1994 hi:) yes it is, i also thought it is high but i contact with the Lenovo service and they told me the i7-9750h designed to work at this temps and its all ok:) you can always undervolt to get 80-85 degrees but as is its ok also

      @@salfred5928 thanks bro. My main cpu is i9 9900k and when i turn on the turbo boost the temp is just like you and it go over 85 C and some times 90 c but when i turn it off the temp goes down at 65 C . now i want to know is that normal for all these cpu and i9 9900k? and also i mention that my voltage is normal .800 V

    • @salfred5928
      @salfred5928  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Emadeddin 1994 great cpu:):) i dont know about other cpu just for the i7-9750h cuz i asked if its ok, i think its fine if you put the fans on performance at Lenovo Vantage so they will be at the highest level and they are doing great job, always after even 6 hours of gaming the temps goes immediately to 40-60 when you close the game, its 90 only when you gaming or something else like video editing software so its fine :)

      Tim Yeo hi:) im playing with turbo boost power i just made this video for someone who asked to see how it work without the turbo boost(just the base clock of cpu)
