One of the small things vulfpeck taught me is that the hardest thing is not to be showy and flashy with lots of fills and riffs, but to play the fewest notes possible as well as they can be played. That’s real mastery.

Literally every Woody Goss track is just so unbelievably groovy, they just REALLY hit that special spot deep in your soul. Joe Dart absolutely annihilating the bass part as per usual, and the arrangement really set him up to shine the way he does in all the best Vulfpeck songs. Jack and Woody really brought the heat with this one, and the performance is spectacular as always. Marvelous job and well done all around boys!!!

I think it might be "simple step" from groove spoon, that old college band with Joe, Antwaun, and Jack (which was also composed by jack I think). I simply cannot wait to hear this
@@brownie_64 oh yeah i know of that version. it's really good! the reason i credited simple step under vulfmon instead of groove spoon is because i found the original song on dj paradiddle's bandcamp (jack's old bandcamp account, which also had an old version of it gets funkier). i don't think jack goes by dj paradiddle anymore so i wrote vulfmon instead the bandcamp version doesn't feature the horns you hear in the groove spoon version so i'm assuming it came out earlier. nevertheless, i'm excited to hear what the vulfpeck rendition is going to sound like
