@Bhih Dravini it wont be the best. Ours is better. There is so much more than just military parade. Its hours long event. They dont have history so they cant show that and different regiments. Our uniforms are also very cool. The countries that does good military march just military no showing of its heritage or things like that then its Russia and China. But both have different approach Russians show it more like brave and powerful not so much importance on exact robotic movements and Chinese solders looks the most robotic and same to each other in the world. The synchronization is on other level. Indian military is like best of both the worlds. Personally I like Russian military March even better than india. They do it with smile and pride.
I was actually in the parade for 2019. A student from one of the schools that danced at the parade (4 schools dance at the parade). It's way better seeing it in front of you. We would literally stand at the side of the road and watch them march by. Btw the practice for this starts one year before the actual parade. And for the four schools to get selected, there is a huge process. Participating in the parade gave me a whole new appreciation for the people in the parade. Especially the people who march because they work so much harder. And the school students too, we'd practice non stop and miss our studies but it was a very fun and learning experience. I'd love to do it again. It was soooo tiring. We'd start all the way from rashtrapati bhavan and end after india gate. The whole time we had to smile and look to our right while maintaining our lines and walking VERY fast. We'd wake up at 12 at night to go to school and start the preparation. But this really taught us so much discipline, and made us gain some really good friends. If you have the opportunity to participate, please do. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity, and even after thirty years, you will still remember your spot and the place at which you stood.

Hi guys. The officers are saluting their supreme commander of the armed forces that is the president of india who is standing to the right on the podium. It atleast takes 3 months to prepare the forces for this parade and immense training so they walk in unison. U could have heard the way they tap their feet. This is Republic day Parade, Each Regiment of Indian army sends part of its Battalion for practicing the march, So when a solider wants to join, he goes to a particular Regiment centre, where if he is selected (after tests) he will undergo various training modules, Once he passes them he will be part of the Regiment. He will always be part of this regiment. when the soldiers are deloyed they are deployed in smaller units called Battalions Each regiments have various battalions, the Battalions are the combat units of a Regiment., thus the Battalions of a regiment get into combat, the regiment itself does not. Many different battalions of different units make up a Brigade, or a higher unit called Division. many such divisions make a corp. Thus a corp will consist of battalions of different units like Infantry, Tanks, APCs etc Corp is the second largest unit, its lower unit than Army. Yes that was Mi-24 Hind, Also the 4 engine plane at 2.17 is C-17 taken from USA for Strategic Air lifting. Anyway for the republic day parade, each Regiment sends soldiers of its battalion to march in a group to represent their regiment. So each Contingent is made of soldiers belonging to a particular Regiment (for Army) there are different regiments like Sikh regiment, Punjab, Maratha Light infantry, Ja&K Light infantry, Madras Regiment, Gorkha Rifles, Sikkim Scouts, etc. The best marching contingent is given Award and recognition, thus each regiment practices it for month at least, regularly.
HISTORY Army" was a British-commanded force defined as "the force recruited locally and permanently based in India, together with its expatriate British officers";[14] the "British Army in India" referred to British Army units posted to India for a tour of duty. The "Army of India" meant the combined Indian Army and the British Army in India.
All those men on the motorbikes isn't out of the ordinary. That's a pretty standard way of travelling in India. Entire familes on one bike. Entire towns sat on the roof of trains etc.
In case you did not know, the parade dose not end just on the main parade strip ( raj path- 2 km) it goes more that that for 8 km they March up to Redfort
I love European standard of living quality of health care system and education and comparatively high human development indices. India should focus on overall development of its citizen in a convincing manner.
its basically all the three divisions of defense (Army, Navy and Air force) explaining that what weapons and powers we posses and its a hell march on independence day..
That foot sounds was real not the music. You have to watch upcoming 26 January 2020 parade (I.S.T.). It was so satisfying to see them all they are so dedicated to be in line. All the ceremony was more colorful.
there is a technique to to slap your foot on the ground and also so many peopls with boots that have a really good and hard soul will make a really loud bang sound.if u can,get a military boot , any one ,usmc boot or anything or if u r in india a regular military boot and stamp it on the floor or where ever , it will make a good bang sound , but yes , the way the militaries across the world showcase their power is unimaginably good and all the soldiers deserve their share of due respect so don't forget to give it to them.

I've gone to one of these parades. Was a feast for the eyes
The footstep of marching troops will be better than what you hear. Imagine 50pairs of shoes marching together by pressing their foot forcefully.
All those men on the motorbikes isn't out of the ordinary. That's a pretty standard way of travelling in India. Entire familes on one bike. Entire towns sat on the roof of trains etc.
You feel the vibration of their steps In delhi🇮🇳 Bow down for Soldiers 🇮🇳 jai hind
In case you did not know, the parade dose not end just on the main parade strip ( raj path- 2 km) it goes more that that for 8 km they March up to Redfort
Women also serves in Indian commando forces.

I love European standard of living quality of health care system and education and comparatively high human development indices. India should focus on overall development of its citizen in a convincing manner.

This day is shown to the people of our country that what the military is doing and developing. Not unlike other countries.
That foot sounds was real not the music. You have to watch upcoming 26 January 2020 parade (I.S.T.). It was so satisfying to see them all they are so dedicated to be in line. All the ceremony was more colorful.
No matter how busy an indian is he or she will definitely watch this on republic day every year from 9-12 on Doordarshan right guys 😁🇮🇳❤️
India forces world number one
there is a technique to to slap your foot on the ground and also so many peopls with boots that have a really good and hard soul will make a really loud bang sound.if u can,get a military boot , any one ,usmc boot or anything or if u r in india a regular military boot and stamp it on the floor or where ever , it will make a good bang sound , but yes , the way the militaries across the world showcase their power is unimaginably good and all the soldiers deserve their share of due respect so don't forget to give it to them.
