Twin Fantasy, How To Leave Town, Monomania, My Back is Killing Me Baby, Teens of Denial, Making a Door Less Open what do all these albums have in common? Well they're all made by Car Seat Headrest, of course! An indie rock band that started with only Will Toledo then got signed to Matador Records. Soon after, Andrew Katz, Ethan Ives and Seth Dably joined the party. Through the years as a solo project, Will released so many great songs including Beach Life-in-Death, Cute Thing, The Ending of Dramamine, Misheard Lyrics and of course, Sober to Death.
After the band signed to Matador records they released Teens of Style, which has reimagined version of many classic CSHR songs such as Something Soon and Los Borrachos (I Don't Have Any Hope Left but The Weather is Nice). Then the band made a huge impact with their album Teens of Denial with great songs like Drunk Drivers / Killer Whales and Vincent. The band then re-recorded Twin Fantasy. After that they teamed up with 1 Trait Danger to make Making a Door Less Open which has many great songs like Weightlifters, Martin, and Deadlines (Thoughtful).

how to leave town is literally my favorite album and the ending of dramamine makes me shake violently and foam at the mouth every time I listen to it. I'm not exaggerating when I talk about how much I love this song and album I've listened to the ending of dramamine 23 times which is over 5 hours of that song. it's so weird knowing htlt is basically just tod outtakes.

Nervous Young Man is a "collection" of songs yes, but as said by the man himself "An album by Will Toledo" (This is what it says on Bandcamp)
They are definitely in my top 3 bands at the moment

@@KyleReidMu btw you should absolutely listen to the numbered albums asap, they are often overlooked (especially 1 and 2) but they are so fun and unique, it's impossible not to like at least some of the material on there

Just started with CSH. Had no idea of the lore, just heard Drunk Drivers and it reminded me so much of Magnetic Fields! I dove right in. Love it!

Beast Monster Thing is such an underrated track (at least in my experience it gets overshadowed by The Ending of Dramamine and Hey, Space Cadet). One of CSH’s catchiest and funniest songs and still bursting at the seams with emotional angst it’s such an incredible song.

Adding this to my CSH playlist on my channel. I made videos of what I thought about just about every album; most are from first impressions and I've learned many things about the band and Will since. I became a fan of Will's after I saw a Tiny Desk Concert video of him performing Maude Gone. I use a lot of hyperbole when talking about CSH because they are just that good. But you already know that about them. I am so anxious for another original album to be released. Cheers!
