I would have liked to have seen you use copperslip or grease when reassemblying parts but otherwise a great piece of restoration done well to a high standard. You also did a good job at explaining each part of the work Kim, and You have many skills and are not affraid to get stuck in. Well done!
I love watching the rebuild. I can remember a smallholder next to my dad’s farm using one to collect sage from a field in 1965 when I was about 14 I’m now 71 brings back fond memories

As a retired Fitter and Turner and someone who spent my life working on earth moving equipment a little larger than your Ransoms I admire your skill and ability, there have been many times over the years when I have had to rebuild pieces of machinery that have been " butchered " by others going before me and then trying to explain why the job costs so much. Great video again Kim👍 whten you rebuilt the centrifugal clutch did you put new springs in 🤔 we had the one in our workshop running but couldn't get it in gear because the clutch springs had got too weak 🙄😕😡 so new springs ordered 👌 Happy Christmas to you and your family and a Healthy Happy Prosperous New Year 🎊🥂 look forward to the follow up videos 👌

That's a great idea putting a layer of gasket material in to stop galvanic corrosion! I'll remember that one cheers!

Great restoration Kim where will you be showing the Ransomes crawler ?
Use to put linings on trawler brakes for the netting be very careful some old linings have awful sh.t in them as well as asbestos beware
I think they have all been done before but it’s not nice stuff is it!
