I would not be friends with those moms again, unless they were just lying and actually was telling me what was happening. Other than that they're bad friends

Right?! I'm sure some of them didn't believe everything that was said. At least one person should at least told her what rumors were going on and find out her side of the story. That's what a good friend would do especially for something that is out of character for that person.

If your so “ friends “ are that easily persuaded to stop talking to you because someone paid them, then they are not your friends. The moment she was out of their lives they would still be out of mine. They’re not your friends nor did they respect your friendship. They showed their true self to you and that they didn’t value your friendship the way you valued theirs. True friends will never turned their backs on you for any reason, not even for money.💴 You can see where their loyalty lies. Not with you apparently. Put them in your review mirror as you move forward with your life with your husband. Just see them as leaves 🍁 in your life. Concentrate on planting roots with your husband in your new house 🏠.

There are mothers that hang around together in neighborhoods. They are not necessarily people you want to know. Some are not very nice. Some are nice. But you end up having to take the good with the bad. So, no, don't hang around with them if you want to avoid bring hurt and your children being hurt. (Yes, the not so nice ones will do things that hurt your child's feelings using the their child and the children of the other moms --that is how mean some of these moms can be.)

It totally depends on the cost of living where people live. It greatly varies around the world, even within a country. I know some places that you can rent an entire 3 bedroom house for under $1,000 a month and the average income for a couple is around $45,000 annually. In those areas the average income of $60,000 is considered above average.

You cannot afford a 5 star hotel room on 60K a year, no matter where you live.
Edit: My sister's SIL was an interior decorator for businesses in Dallas, TX. When she came to visit her brother and his family, she stayed in a 5 star luxury hotel in our state. My sister said it cost $2500/night. The "room" was huge. (There was actually multiple rooms in the luxury room.) This was 2 decades ago. This woman is now retired but owns multiple homes in at least 3 states. She is very active in dog rescue organizations.

I am aware of how much I earn per month. I am aware of how much I spend each month. As long as my monthly accounts receivable are greater than accounts payable, I can sleep contentedly at night. What little I have left over goes into my entertainment budget and my retirement funds. My life is good.

I'm just like Lauren, but I don't have patience or the temperament to forgive people who are quick to sell me out. It goes further to friends, family and children( Yes, children because teaching children about loyalty at young age is a valuable lesson building resilience, self awareness and independence). In fact, I admit I enjoy seeing people get annoyed bc I don't kiss their ass and stroke their ego. I admit this openly and proudly I am vindictive and petty at my worst. At my best I am kind, loyal, and supportive. I can't stand bullies, liars and arrogant narcissistic people, as well as weak, pathetic, doormats. My experience with these types of people is I will tell you exactly what I think of you, and if possible never deal with you but if I have too, I will not be miserable, annoyed Yes, miserable no but I believe matching energy with energy and to be even honest I'm the milder version my friends and family are actually worse than me.
