Just a note on hot glue.
I started installing wood trim in my house using only hot glue, no nails.
This worked out perfectly until I finished my attic. During the hottest days of summer, when no one was using the living space in the attic, I would turn off the air conditioning. That's when the trim boards around the attic access fell off.
So, I believe something made of black plastic would get hot enough to re-melt hot glue, if left in direct sunlight on a hot day.

Fixing pipe. Don't fix inside a pice fix only in outer side. Indide pice will peal off and it will stuck.
