I think the points here are good. However, I'd like to see more content you of actually growing and featuring artists who are starting from scratch. It's always established artists with large TikTok followings that are advertised in the videos. Whereas a lot of use like growth through IG and TH-cam, especially for our genres. So, as an agency it would be nice to see videos of you documenting the journey of your roster of acts that have a tiny following or are just starting off. Just shows that there's hope for us. Established artists have it good, but the 1 in 100,000 artist that you show gives a false sense of hope when we are trying these techniques with good content, and not getting a comment or like back.
second this, all i hear is reels, use hook, remember no watermark for the past 2 years from all youtubers lol
Their services suck. I tried them and it is a scam. As soon as they get your card info they can keep taking your money even tho I cancelled the suscription. It looks like Still Pending, tried contacting them And no accountabilty whatsoever.
Facts
they won’t do that.. you know that’s too much work for marketers lol
they want somebody already established
Finally, a video I’ve watched in 2024 about indie artists that that didn’t make me feel defeated and like the music game is to hard. Thank you ✌️
wish you the best!
thank you 💚 i was actually relieved after watching this you're one of the few who kept our authenticity untouched as artists. Thanks again God Bless.
Always learning ❤️all the best to both of you !
Agreed. The issue here is what if your account started as a personal account and later became a music dedicated one. Thing is the likes aren’t coming making your content static cuz your existing followers don’t care about your music. I’ve literally created a personal account and removed people who don’t care about my music. But, my existing followers are also not engaging. So, what do I do? Do I literally just remove people who don’t like my music?
This is so helpful, thank you so much!
First comment!! big fan of you guys thanks for always working to stay up to date. I actually prefer this new direction of quality over quantity
Thanks Mandy!!
valid points. thank you very much
Thanks for the update
Thanks for this! I’ve been told I have to post three posts a day ! On instagram and because of that the posts are not so good cause I don’t have so much time to make them good. What you’re saying also feels much more logical than just post post post post.
thank you!
I have a musoc and production account . Yes it is to promote me and my work but mainly for me talking about things i love. Like heres a cool sound design or i love these songs
Thanks for the helpful video! Would love to see one about TikTok as well
Burstimoooooooooooooooooooooooo yo what's up Broc domino effect ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 happy New Year
Hugely helpful. Great video, Maddy. Thank you
You are doing it amazing and it was super helpful! Thank you!
Great info thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you! Good reminders
Very good video. I love coffee just as much lol.
What streaming app do you recommend. ❤ For artists
You didn't mention hashtags at all. Is that intentional and thereby deliberately indicating that they don't matter? It seems to me when I use hashtags I only get bot/trash accounts engaging with whatever I post. Maybe I answered my own question here, but curious on your view. Thanks!
Useful for putting you into the right category at the beginning of your account e.g. musician, car account, food but past that, not necessary.
Definitely worth it for Reels as that's where you can get discovered but 3-5 that are specific is fine
Makes sense, thanks for the reply,@@Burstimo
In the case of TH-cam, how important is for the artist to have a solid youtube fanbase compared to spotify this year?
But what if someone bought me 300 followers? He actually wanted to harm my account, that's what he said. But do I have to start a new account now?
You don’t have to start a new account. Thalia type of stuff competitors are doing to harm each other. But you can use automation services to remove them.
I believe the current meta (pun intended) is that reels are not the most important thing? They are kinda returning to the oldschool ordinary posts
Thank you
❤❤
My problem
What did you mean by “if you’re following/unfollowing”
you follow someone and then they follow you back. then you unfollow them after. immature behaviour.
Home run of a post.
These people SUCK. I tried their suscription and their Customer SERVICE IS THE WORST!!!
In My opinion, independent artists need to exclusive social media app to introduce their brand & their career for all genres music listeners. Tiktok or others aren't useful enough to artist promotion at this time.
May I ask why you think tiktoks isn’t good anymore? I thought it was the best. Since it made so many people famous

spotify has powerful ai technology than tiktok or Instagram but a tiktok or instagram users can viral in explore by hashtags in explore after a few months activity. an spotify artist can't get editorial playlists after even several years activity 😔

@@Kiran37369 I tried to reply here but youtube removed abruptly the comment
I’ll be honest, Instagram is depressing for me. I post music under a different name online and I barely ever (in five years) get 100 views on a video and have 36 followers. But on TikTok that same song gets thousands of views, hundreds of likes and lots of comments. It’s demoralizing to kind of keep beating the same old drum. I think I’m ready to step away from Instagram.
As if no artist is doing this already😂 no disrespect I appreciate the info, but this advice is surface level more of the same "create content, post reels, captions etc"
Am I the only one who thinks she looks and sounds like Tom Holland
Nobody needs a label
As always, great content. @Burstimo
I’ve utilized a lot of what you taught with musicians i met and my own projects and I’m seeing great results.
A quick q, I wonder perhaps if there’s room to work in your agency?
Thank you very much good idea @rancolink
