Glad to see this one come back! Ebay had these listed around $300 a few months back. No thanks. I noticed the KJV Store also has the Rock of Ages Study Bible coming back in stock in November. Happy to see that one coming back around too.
So happy to see they are back in print . I love the yearly reading plan. I would love to see it in the smaller size with thumb indexing . The one I have is worn out . I carry it on my 18 wheeler. Great for witnessing.
Love the font size. Love love the verse by verse. Love love love the wide margins. Sort of ok with the paper, though I would prefer line matched printing. Wish it was red letter in the NT, just because of personal preference. I have a variety of pens, pencils, crayons and markers so finding the right product for my method of note talking wouldn't be a problem for me. The size of the Bible is fine for me because I use a decent sized lap tray when I spread out to mark up the Biblical text only. I need to move to my desk when I do deep studying because I have to have enough room to open up two or three study books/Bibles, as well as an electronic tablet to take advantage of notes online. I will have to go to their website and take a look at it there. Cost will definitely be a consideration for me. Thank you for the review. :)
This one has a lot more helps for understanding the KJV. The Westminster has a lot of definitions, but not as many as this one. The Westminster's stregnth is its 200,000 cross references.
The paper seems very crisp Randy . Thanks enjoy your channel. What about the yearly plan in the Thomas Nelson KJV thinline? Do you recommend that plan as i been doing it as part of my daily reading along with daily office.
“Great review!”😃👍 I absolutely love the definitions and layout of The Defined King James Bible. There’s something about the font and word spacing that truly agrees with my eyes. It’s a delightful reading experience that I highly recommend.”
I actually just bought this Bible, though it was in medium print, had a burgundy cover (and was printed in South Korea) today at a vendor fair my church had. It's a really good Bible and definitely will be my to go to KJV Bible. However, I also just found out that Dr. Donald Allen Waite, who wrote that preface at 1:06, just went home to be with the Lord a week ago. 😔 🙏
Hi Daniel. I like the Thomas Nelson reference editions. They include the updated words on the page, and they seem to define everything. They just have the word rather than an explanation.
this cannot be totally correct... there are 31,102 calculating out 85 x 365 we only get 31,025 verses read... and on a Leap year.. this would give us 31,110... so some of those days.. either scattered throughout or on the end.. are NOT 85 verses to read... stating that there are 85 verses scheduled to read every day.. is NOT a true statement....
Printed in China, not the USA.
Thanks for the correction.

This bible looks awesome. I have one of the originals, but it might be time for another copy.
Have you ever reviewed the KJV Remnant study bible? I just found out about it.
I haven't reviewed that one.
Leather cover here seems a lot softer than mine. Mine is like super stiff.
Interesting. Is yours the new release?
@@BibleBuyingGuide it is an old one, not sure when it was printed but the leather is super stiff even after applying leather conditioner to it.
I'm split between this and the TBS Westminster. Which do you find better as helping someone new to the KJV to understand it.

The TN plan is good. I've used it. It does have a couple of quirks, but it's worth using.
@@BibleBuyingGuidethanks very much 🙏 i guess they all have some quirks

Looks like a great bible! I love the definitions

Sorry to hear that. Thanks for sharing the news. Congratlations on finding your Bible!
@@BibleBuyingGuideThank you!
I love that font style and word spacing. Do you know of any other kjvs that have a similar style font?
Hi. It's similar to the fonts TBS uses in their Westminster Reference Bible and Windsor Text Bible.
@@BibleBuyingGuidethanks for your response. Yes its a nice style easy on my eyes and pleasing.
Is there a KJV version that included definitions that you would recommend over this one?
Hi Daniel. I like the Thomas Nelson reference editions. They include the updated words on the page, and they seem to define everything. They just have the word rather than an explanation.
Do you ever do Bible give aways?
Yes. We usually run them on the website, but we sometimes have them here or on the Facebook page.
Randy,
would you say that this one is better than the original one or is it the same?
Hi Bruce. I'm not sure. This is the only one I've seen.
@@BibleBuyingGuide this one is actually a reprint of one of the older originals. It is not the most recent edition.
@@plprm thanks!
Is there anything like this for the 1644 edition?
Not that I'm aware of.
I was thinking this Bible was out of print. I could be wrong though
It was, but it's back.
Well it’s not out of print if he is reviewing it!
@@ryanbrown5214 it was, but it's back. 🙂
Thanks Randy! 😀
I agree that it is an odd reading plan.
That looks almost wide margin

I really like it but seems overpriced to me
