- The MG RX8 is the company’s first seven-seater SUV.
The RX8 is available in three variants - the standard 2WD option, the COM 4WD option and the one we are reviewing here, the LUX version which offers a 6-point automatic transmission along with 4WD functionality and boatloads of features
Under the hood, the RX8 is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that produces 163 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque.

220 hp, not 163.
It would be great if you can share a 0-100 acceleration time. The car looks big n heavy for 224hp (2.0 turbo) engine and hence i want to know how quick is it under hard acceleration
Heading is road test but nothing is told about the performace of the car during drive.It's a waste of time.

I baught one MG rx8 2022 everything is great but driving it i feel vibration the ride is not smooth did you experience this while test driving

It is four cylinders.

Yes, it comes with front and rear sensors with rear view camera.
How is the fuel consumption sir
The fuel economy is on point. We got around 550km on a full tank, which is quite good.
@@GadgetVoize How big is the tank capacity?
Do you also find that the steering wheel vibrates when driving over 110km/h? I'm trying to figure out if this is a common problem or not. The dealership and service shop for MG in Qatar tells me that it is because its built on the Maxus truck chassis and its just something it does, witch does not sound right to me.
So do I. I can feel it after 120km vibrates a little bit. I don't why. I just bought it 3 days only.
Update? Did it get fixed?
@@pushkarkundra3038 It got fixed eventually yea, I had to send a private mechanic to the dealership service center to show them what to do. Still cant recommend the car though, horrible AC and the after sale service is horrible too.
@@nicolaasleroux7536 how did you fix it? I'm considering to buy as well due to its price point tbh. Did a test drive today. Wasn't able to test high speed handling because it was inner city drive. AC was indeed terrible but saleswoman said it's 50C outside which wasn't the fact. I'm in Qatar but it was 5pm so barely 35C.
A friend of mine drives this since April. He also mentioned this problem above 110km/hr but he said AC is OK.
Also rear view camera was blurry even though car was clean. Saleswoman said yes it's like that because it also has 360 view. Quite nonsense because it's separate.
@@NiCKkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk yep, AC is horrible when the outside temp is over 30, definately not made for qatar heat. I had to send a private machanic with the car to the Auto class dealership to tell them what the problem is and how to fix it. My problem is more with the useless dealership service. I knew the car wasn't gonna be great, it's cheap, Chinese crap, but I wanted the peace of mind that the dealership promised with the warrenty and other services like door to door pickups for problems and courtacy car when there is a problem under warrenty. I've had to fight with them every time to get a car. They even tried to swindle me into paying for the first 2 services even though I had a service package.
