This was very helpful. My employer contracts with a large software company and I have a laptop that I used to VPN into that companies internal network. This required me to install various type of security software to be compliant with the security places of that company. I am no longer using this machine to access that network and wanted to do a fresh windows installation. There seemed to be something setup on the computer to prevent a user from turning off Bit locker. Every time I tried it would begin decrypting for about 20 seconds then bit locker would turn itself back on and reencrypt whatever had been decrypted. This was a very easy workaround and I now have a brand new Win11 setup. Thanks!

Seriously, not a Bot here- This is Genuinely a fantastic tutorial. You can pull up command prompt using Shift + F10 on the windows installation screen instead of using Restart + Shift to access Windows Recovery if that isn’t an option. If the Letter for your partition is not available, just try letters in sequential order until you get confirmation that it was accepted. Thank you so much!!!
Excellent work. Great help in recovering from Auto Repair brought about by a faulty update. Unknown to the user (whom only had a local account), the system drive was encrypted. The failed update put laptop in a repair loop, with no possibility of finding a recovery ID. You out did Microsoft with your procedure. Impressive. You have my deepest gratitude.

For those wondering about the data retrieval procedure, I can assure you that once you format and erase the data, it will be gone forever, as it happened to me, and I tried more than 20 recovery software and none of them worked, so think carefully twice before attempting this.
I did 'diskpart clean' for my volume C and now there is only one partition showing.. Did my volume D also gone? and can't install windows to it.. it shows to format.. Can i recover volume D.. before format?

thank you so much i love you for those of u that have a missing disk drive after the fresh installation: I fixed it by right clicking This PC > Manage > Assign New volume or something like that and then the new volume wizard thing opened up and it worked!!!
YES my grandmother brought me a laptop and said she got it for $25 (she just got it cause why not) its a good little piece of junk but the drive was bitlockered and this saved me a lot so thank you SO SO MUCH

The only suggestions I'd make are 1) it's a bit fast (it would be better to delay clicking on the next screen for a second or two), so I had to pause frequently and click back to see what I missed and 2) there was no explanation as to why you overwrote the Size @ 5:49. I assume that you must've installed a new, larger HDD but I assumed that mine automatically displayed the correct size for mine. Otherwise, thanks again--you've saved a lot of people a lot of time and hassle!

Ya sure you can create multiple primary partitions in drive. You need to know how much storage is required for Windows installation, usually 150 GB is enough, the more application you install, the more storage you need. If you have any doubt please feel free to comment... Thank you..!!

THIS METHOD WORKS 💯 bought a used laptop n ig the owner when he was deleting files he deleted some system files n it messed the whole thing up but this method still works up to now !!!
Amazing video worked perfectly. But at 5:57 it seems like it separate the partition and now one is called unallocated space. Is it OK to leave it like that, since it's unallocated space will your computer have less space if I leave it like that?
Thank you for the comment,😊 Okay after installation of windows you can create new partition using unallocated space. 1) Just go to disk management Or right click on start menu select disk management. 2) Right click on unallocated space 3) Select Create new volume 4) Follow on screen instructions 5) Format the drive as NTFS file system 6) Click on finish That's it, if you have any doubt or issues feel free to comment.

My windows is corrupted. Trying to fix mbr but path not found c:/. Last resort is to format it. At first i cant format partition because of bitlocker. Found this video and managed to bypass. Thankfully my laptop dont have anything that important. This tutorial saved me $ from going to the technician 👏🏻
I was in a big trouble when I formatted my C drive (system drive) and my other drives like D, E and F were locked by bitlocker and I didn't know the recovery key. After some trial and error, I finally was able to unlock those drive without losing the data. Here is how you can also unlock your drives: (You need to have a dell laptop) -Restart system and enter a BIOS mode (Keep pressing F12 if you are a dell user. For other manufacturers, key might get differ). -After entering BIOS, you will see an option called 'SupportAssist OS Recovery' and press enter. -Choose option RESET (This will re-install the factory operation system that came with the system when you had bought it) -After choosing RESET, you will see 2 options: Reset to factory setting and Reset and update. -Choose Reset to factory setting (You might want to take back up of your C drive if there are any important files stored on your desktop, documents, downloads, etc. because this will format your C drive (where windows is installed) and will re-install the factory OS.) -It will take 15-20 mins and you are done! -You will be asked setup your system (like new). -Once it is done, you will see that your locked drives have been unlocked successfully and data is still there in the drives as you left. THIS IS HOW IT WORKED FOR ME. I'M POSTING THIS IN ORDER TO HELP SOMEONE WHO IS FACING THE SIMILAR ISSUE.

Amazing video worked perfectly. But at 5:57 it seems like it separate the partition and now one is called unallocated space. Is it OK to leave it like that, since it's unallocated space will your computer have less space if I leave it like that?

Okay after installation of windows you can create new partition using unallocated space.
1) Just go to disk management
Or right click on start menu select disk management.
2) Right click on unallocated space
3) Select Create new volume
4) Follow on screen instructions
5) Format the drive as NTFS file system
6) Click on finish

My windows is corrupted. Trying to fix mbr but path not found c:/. Last resort is to format it. At first i cant format partition because of bitlocker. Found this video and managed to bypass. Thankfully my laptop dont have anything that important. This tutorial saved me $ from going to the technician 👏🏻

I was in a big trouble when I formatted my C drive (system drive) and my other drives like D, E and F were locked by bitlocker and I didn't know the recovery key. After some trial and error, I finally was able to unlock those drive without losing the data.
Here is how you can also unlock your drives: (You need to have a dell laptop)
-Restart system and enter a BIOS mode (Keep pressing F12 if you are a dell user. For other manufacturers, key might get differ).
-After entering BIOS, you will see an option called 'SupportAssist OS Recovery' and press enter.
-Choose option RESET (This will re-install the factory operation system that came with the system when you had bought it)
-After choosing RESET, you will see 2 options: Reset to factory setting and Reset and update.
-Choose Reset to factory setting (You might want to take back up of your C drive if there are any important files stored on your desktop, documents, downloads, etc. because this will format your C drive (where windows is installed) and will re-install the factory OS.)
-It will take 15-20 mins and you are done!
-You will be asked setup your system (like new).
-Once it is done, you will see that your locked drives have been unlocked successfully and data is still there in the drives as you left.
THIS IS HOW IT WORKED FOR ME. I'M POSTING THIS IN ORDER TO HELP SOMEONE WHO IS FACING THE SIMILAR ISSUE.

If you have a licence key then re-activate again bro. Or if you have a laptop it comes with OEM key in BIOS. Just install windows and connect internet to reactivate.
