One Thought here...We can also run BG regular regional trains on broadgauge lines with Vops= 160kph till 200kph. With Aluminium MU tilting train sets, replacing fixed block signalling systems with moving block principle based, replacing UIC52 rails with UIC 60 rails
BG mainlines are not fit for anything above 160 km/hr. There will be a huge safety issues due to poor quality tracks and no fencing. It'll take decades to upgrade legacy lines as they're owned IR babudogs.
